For All You Do

For my card, I used a Pink Pirouette cardbase, layered with Melon Mambo & Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper. The main panel includes a stem/leaf image & sentiment from the For All You Do stamp set that I just FREE in the mail for my Sale-a-bration reward:) The Melon Mambo flower was punched from the Extra Large Fancy Flower punch and stacked with a Pink Pirouette Fleurette and Certainly Celery button from the Sherbet Designer Buttons pack. After a little crochet thread laced through the button and a little Certainly Celery Satin wrapped around the card front, it is ready to give to someone special.

Stamps: For All You Do
Paper: Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo, retired DSP
Ink: Certainly Celery
Other: Certainly Celery Satin, Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch, retired Fleurettes, Sherbet Designer Buttons, White Crochet Thread, Sewing Machine, Thread (non-SU)

You're Sew Lovely

Kazan's sketch #51 at 2 Sketches 4 You was the fabulous inspiration for my card tonight! I've had this sketch in mind all week, just needed a night with no distractions to tackle it:)

Isn't this Lawn Fawn dress form image just SEW cute? It reminds me of my daughter Hannah...she received a wrought iron dress form for her room at Easter and already has it covered in scarves and belts:)

Stamps: Sew Lovely (Lawn Fawn)
Paper: cardstock and patterned paper (Taylored Expressions April Key Ingredients)
Ink: Rich Cocoa Momento, Copics
Other: ribbon & buttons (Taylored Expressions), Corner Rounder, Linen Thread, Mini Glue Dots

Delight in Life

It's Viva la Verve time over at Splitcoaststampers! This time, Amber paired up this fab sketch with your choice of three inspiration room photos.

Here's the sketch...

Here's the room I chose to get color inspiration from...Rich Razzleberry, Ruby Red, Kraft & Very Vanilla!

It's all about layers and mixing designer paper patterns with this one...loving the eclectic style these days:)

Hope you like my card tonight! Happy almost Tuesday:)

Stamps: Miracles Blossom (Verve)
Paper: Ruby Red, Kraft, Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla CS, Razzleberry Lemonade, Bella Bleu & Autumn Meadows DSP
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Copics
Other: Very Vanilla Jumbo Brads, Mat Pack & Paper Piercing Tool, Kraft Taffeta Ribbon, Scallop Trim Punch

Birthdays Are the Best

Happy Birthday, Rachel! That's right, it's Rachel's birthday over at Hope Stamps Eternal and to celebrate, the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #56 is all about birthdays and cupcakes:)

Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #66 was a great inspiration for the layout of my card...and guess what? It's Karen's birthday, too!!! Happy, happy birthday, Karen!

I stumbled upon a new challenge, the Hoppy Spring Theme Challenge #1 over at DeNami Designs, so the bloom was a must!

When I started making this card, I realized that I didn't have the exact supplies I wanted. I would really love some Kraft colored grosgrain or twill...has anybody seen any of that out there in the paper-crafting world. I also need to get some plastic kraft buttons to add to my stash:)

Have a great week everyone!

Stamps: Blooming Button Bits (PTI)
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Kraft, Whisper White CS, Bella Bleu, Shades of Spring & retired DSP
Ink: Sahara Sand, Melon Mambo, Chocolate Chip
Other: Circle/Scallop Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Rich Avocado Buttons & Twill and Button Twine (PTI)

Scallop Baby Buggy

I know a couple of 'moms to be' that are expecting baby boys in May and I'm in need of some non-girlie cards (which are not my usual creations.) All I needed to get started was just the right color, patterned paper, image, and fun layout. Thanks to Taylor for another fabulous sketch this week, Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #110!

Scallops, scallops... The patterned paper squares were punched with the 1 1/4" Square Punch and adhered to decorative squares punched from the Scallop Square Punch. The ribbon was wrapped around the card front with a little peek of a scallop edge punched from the Scallop Edge Punch. The baby buggy image from the Puns from the Past stamp set was inked up in Chocolate Chip Craft ink and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and Heat Tool.

Stamps: Puns from the Past
Paper: cardstock & patterned paper (Taylored Expressions)
Ink: Chocolate Chip Craft
Other: Heat Tool, Clear Embossing Powder, Scallop Edge, Scallop Square & 1 1/4" Square Punches, Circle/Scallop Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Ribbon & Button (Taylored Expressions), Linen Thread
