It’s the 8th of the month –Blog Hop time from REVERSE CONFETTI! Last month’s release was full of holiday magic as well as some gorgeous everyday sentiments. As we look forward to the holidays, it’s now time to start thinking of those small gifts, tags, treats, or just sweet notes of encouragement to spread the “Merry” to our friends, family and coworkers. The Confetti Crew and a few other pals have designed some great cards and projects to give you just the creative spark you’ll need to make some of your very own RC magic happen!
The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Julia Stainton’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all of Reverse Confetti’s amazing stamp sets!
I stamped the feather and the teardrop border from Peacock Pretties in Peacock Feathers distress ink...what a perfect color for this set! I used a bit of embossing paste with a stencil on the white background of my card and added a dusting of glitter! The large tag die from Tag Me Confetti Cuts and some flag dies were all cut from some yummy papers and layered up on my card. For some added detail, there are few stitches and sprinkled sequins, as well as, some wrapped twine to finish it up!
I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to Laurie Schmidlin’s blog. If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.
How would you like to win some Reverse Confetti goodies of your very own? Leave a comment on each stop along the way for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to REVERSE CONFETTI. Comments are open until Monday, December 9th at 2pm CST, and the winner will be announced on the “Time for a Card Tuesday” post over on the Reverse Confetti Blog!
A few things before you hop along though, just to keep you “in the know”…
December’s SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY, which was the layout inspiration of my card today, is still open for you to play along. The CASE Study #169 looked like a fantastic opportunity to ink up Peacock Pretties! AND, be on the lookout for our second COLOR challenge we will be introducing on December 16th and another way to win!
Celebrate the creative side of you!
Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!
