My mother's birthday was Friday and this is a special card for her...made with her favorite colors!  The ColourQ Challenge #182, Mojo Monday Sketch #286, and The Play Date Cafe #174 were the inspirations for this birthday card.

The patterned paper is a from a new-to-me brand, Kathy Davis...such lovely colors and patterns.  I colored the gift with Copic markers and embellished with a pearl...a few layers and enamel dots finishes this one off:)

Thanks for stopping by the stage!

TAWS Be Inspired 25

Hey all!  The Alley Way Stamps Be Inspired Challenge #25 is up and running...love this happy photo collage loaded with happy color!   I was also inspired by  The Paper Players Sketch #138 and the Word Art Wednesday #73: Anything Goes.

The fabulous sentiment from a new TAWS stamp set called Life is Short was also an inspiration for my card!  The collage photo and this sentiment gave me permission to go crazy with layers, texture and color!  FUN!

Celebrate My BOY - Seize the Birthday

It's time for a masculine take on Seize the Birthday #12...  I made a birthday card for my oldest son, Noah, who will turn 13 later in April!  OMGolly, a teenager in my house...unbelievable!

Hope you'll join us at Seize the Birthday this week with your masculine birthday cards!  A big shout-out to Uniko Studio for sponsoring us at STB this month...

I used a couple of Uniko Studio stamp sets on Noah's card, Extra Time (ultra-masculine, I think) and the FONTiments Birthday (a must-have).

The Cupcake Craft Challenge #235: Cool Men, Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes, and Pile It On #12: Dots are fun ones this week, too!  Loads of layers on this one...using some new goodies from Basic Grey...the Hey Boy line!

Thanks for stopping by the stage!

By LORi Designs - Some Bunny Loves You

It's time for the Tuesday Inspiration over at By LORi Designs...and I'm so very happy to share this adorable Puddle Jumper, Darla with Bunny,...just adore her sweet curls:)  Thanks, Lori Boyd, for being the amazing artist that you are, but most of all...thanks for being a genuine friend and faith sister of mine!

I used the deconstructed sketch #94 as the layout inspiration...fabulous with the broken background panel and partial banner strip with bow:)

Miss Darla and her bunny friend were colored with Copic markers, then mounted on a few layers of spring-colored and patterned paper...then finished off with some stitching, a bow and button treatment.

There are LOADS of new goodies on this card...I struck a gold mine at JoAnn's the other day...with the new Basic Grey line called Hey You!  The colors and patterns helped me pull of this fun card for the first sneak peek day at The Alley Way Stamps!

Bang Bam Pow

The Pink Elephant Challenge this week is CAS: Clean & Simple...

My Benny Boy's birthday is next Monday and I thought the KA-POW stamp set from The Alley Way Stamps was PERFECT to make a fun birthday card for him!  For all of you TAWS lovers, we start SNEAK PEEKS for the April Release tomorrow morning!

The CAS(E) this sketch challenge #20 and the Color Throwdown #234 worked well for a clean & simple, masculine card!

After collage-style stamping the images and words from KA-POW, I added a little color spritzing, a chipboard accent and some black rhinestones to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by the stage!
