Thank you Sheila & Nicole!

If you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator or have ever been a hostess and received a Stampin' Up! box of stuff, then you know how exciting it is to open them up. My dear daughter, Hannah, got a little taste of that feeling today when one of my fabulous stampers came by with this early birthday surprise. This tool box, labelled with "Hannah's Stamps", was loaded full of stamps, inks, clips, notecards, some huge wiggly eyes, and even her own pair of scissors with cute ribbon attached (just like Mommy's)! Thank you Sheila and Nicole for such a thoughtful gift!

Happy As It Gets

At Libby's Little Addiction, I was inspired by baby Courtney's cute little red gingham dress. The Bella Rose Designer Series Paper was a similar pattern to her dress, so I paired it with the Flight of the Butterfly.

Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Whisper White CS, Bella Rose DSP
Ink: Pink Pirouette & Riding Hood Red Classic

Jewelry Color Inspiration #5

Anyone who knows me also knows that have an obsession for stamping and for JEWELRY! I have enjoyed participating in a variety of challenges this summer and am now offering my own weekly Jewelry Color Inspiration Challenge that will be posted each Sunday. This challenge will include a jewelry photo and a link to the website where I found it. If you want to play along, simply make a paper project (card, scrapbook page, or 3D item) that includes the colors indicated with the jewelry piece. Then, submit your creation to me by posting a comment by Saturday, Oct. 4th at 11:59 P.M. and including the link to your project. You may also post your photo at Splitcoaststampers.com using the keyword JCI.

This week's Jewelry Color Inspiration #5 comes from an unknown source. I saved this photo a few weeks ago from a website and now I can't locate where it came from. If I come across it again, I'll let you all know. Don't you just love this vintage-style charm bracelet?

To further inspire you, here is my Boho For You card, which I put together in a snap! This layout is one of my "old standbys" and works with a variety of stamp sets and patterned paper. Notice here that I created my own patterned paper with the Boho Backgrounds stamp set on the Pretty in Pink cardstock.

Stamps: One of a Kind, Boho Backgrounds
Paper: Perfect Plum, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink & Elegant Eggplant CS
Ink: Elegant Eggplant & Pretty in Pink Classic

Just Because Organic Grace

Beate at Fresh and Fun has the coolest inspirations on her blog. I immediately thought of this card I made just last night for a different challenge. Even though I didn't originally intend it for Beate's inspiration challenge, I think it's a perfect fit. Don't the leaves look like the ones on the Kelp glass? My upline, Julie, challenged us to create a project using one of the new Designer Series Paper packs as our inspiration. I chose to use the colors from the Maine Blueberry DSP, which are, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive & Bashful Blue.

Stamps: Best Yet, Organic Grace
Paper: Whisper White, Not Quite Navy & Old Olive CS
Ink: Old Olive, Not Quite Navy & Bashful Blue
Other: Fresh Favorites Buttons, Old Olive 5/8 Grosgrain
