Curtain Call Color Challenge: {ACT 33} & Because I Care Sneak Peek

I found this gorgeous bedding ensemble, Sydney Palampore, at Pottery Barn...one of my favorite decor inspiration websites.  I could thumb through the pages of their catalog for hours, just imagining what it would be like if money were not an issue for decorating my home....sigh!!!  Speaking of catalogs....HOLD THE PHONE!  The "to die for" new Stampin' Up!  2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog just arrived on my doorstep, along with a box of pre-order goodies, on Friday afternoon!  I couldn't wait to ink up one of the new hostess sets...see below:)

To participate in the Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 33...

1. Create a papercrafted (card, scrapbook page, or 3D) project using these colors or similar shades.
2. Post it on your blog or other public gallery (Splitcoaststampers, Paper Craft Planet, Stampin' Addicts, etc.) using the keywords Curtain Call 33 and make sure to include a link back here to the challenge.
3. Enter your name and the direct link to your project in the Mr. Linky box below.

Please note the deadline will be Friday night: You have until Friday, June 11th before midnight (CST) to enter your Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 33 project.

Join us for the Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 33 and you could be one of the next Show Stoppers! We have two awards up for grabs plus a giveaway (details below)! Those chosen as "The Lead" and "Top 5" will receive an award to post on their blog(s) and share the exciting news!

Because I Care SNEAK PEEK

Well, here it is folks, a beautiful new stamp set, fresh off the press!  Stampin' Up! offered this one to demonstrators wishing to order an item that was backordered...now, wasn't that nice of them?

The Because I Care stamp set featured on this card comes with a beautiful flower, a couple of sentiments, and a couple of little extras:)   A hostess with a qualifying order could choose this stamp set FREE, as well as your very own copy of the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog starting in July...wanna learn more, just drop me an email... slschaf771@aol.com .

I inked up the flower image twice, once in Certainly Celery, once in Bashful Blue rolled in Night of Navy.   After hand-cutting them both, I stacked the blue flower over the green one with a dimensional to add some depth.  The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy directly onto the designer series paper.  A little border punch, ribbon tying, button & pin attaching...and there you have it!

Stamps:  Because I Care
Paper:  Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, Whisper White CS, Delicate Dots DSP (retired)
Ink:  Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Night of Navy
Other:   Scallop Trim Punch, Color Spritzer, Sherbet Designer Buttons, Linen Thread, Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon, trinket pins (non-SU)

Have fun using your Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery & Night of Navy!  Can't wait to see what you come up with:)
