I Miss You ~ FTL #42 & CTD #42

Here are the two challenges that I used on my card. The Fall-to Layout #42 from Clean & Simple Stamping blog and the Color Throwdown #42 from the Color Throwdown blog are a perfect pair for this "I Miss You" card. Maybe I cheated a little by adding Old Olive to the flower stems.

I'm going to be teaching in a different building next year and even though I'm excited about the change, I'm going to miss so many of the girls that I work with. This card goes out to them, since I feel like I miss them already!

For the card, I used the Tempting Turquoise & Old Olive Stampin' Write markers to color the rubber before stamping it on Whisper White. The flowers were cut out and propped up on dimensionals and then adhered to the Confetti cardstock panel. Did you notice two of the three colors from the CTD42 are the same as my Jewelry Color Inspiration Challenge #36...the So Saffron & Tempting Turquoise?

Stamps: Three Little Words
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black, So Saffron, Confetti, Whisper White CS, Jackpot DSP
Ink: Black Stazon, Old Olive & Tempting Turquoise Stampin' Write Markers
Other: Tempting Turquoise 1/4" Grosgrain, Scallop Edge Punch

Gorgeous card! I never seem to have the patient to cut out anything that detailed...or the time!

What a great sketch and color combo together. I think its perfectly ok to use a little green. Lovely! I'm sure your coworkers will love them.
