Jewelry Color Inspiration #38 ~ Memorial Day

Anyone who knows me also knows that have an obsession for stamping and for JEWELRY! I enjoy participating in other stamping challenges and want to share the fun by offering my own weekly Jewelry Color Inspiration challenge. The challenge will be posted each Sunday and will include a jewelry photo along with the link to the website where I found it.

If you want to play along, simply make a paper project (card, scrapbook page, or 3D item) that includes the colors indicated with the jewelry piece. (If you don't have the exact colors, just use ones that are similar:) Then, submit your creation to me by Saturday, May 30th at 11:59 P.M. using the Mr. Linky box at the end of this posting. You may also wish to post your photo at Splitcoaststampers.com using the keyword JCI.

GIVEAWAY
All of you who participate in the challenge will receive recognition next Sunday...plus I will giving away a free greeting stamp set, your choice of Botanical Blooms or Congrats, to my favorite submission! So what are you waiting for...join the fun! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

In honor of Memorial Day, I wanted to pick a jewelry piece that included our country's proud colors. Wearing a necklace like this is one way to show off your patriotism in a dazzling red, white and blue way! The designer, Marie Fiedrich at
Cerca Trova etsy shop
, used these handmade artisan red, white and blue lampwork beads with round sterling silver beads to make a necklace with a statement.

What a great day to make a card! It's Memorial Day here in the ole' US of A... and my card is a tribute to all of those veterans who have devoted and sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our blessed country. The layout of my card was inspired by the Monday Mojo Sketch #88

No stamps or ink...what?
Paper: Real Red, Brilliant Blue, Confetti White CS, Jackpot DSP
Other: Bold Brights brads, Crafters Tool Kit, Large Star & Star punches, Whisper White 1/4" Grosgrain, Stampin' Dimensionals
