Very Thankful Peacock

My gal pal, Nancy, over at iStamp used this week's Jewelry Color Inspiration #44 along with Makeesha's Inkspiration Sketch #10. I love Nancy's card and the fun layout, so I decided to try out this sketch for myself. I've been wanting to ink up our new Ronald McDonald set, Very Thankful, and it works great with the round focal piece on the sketch. To me, the colors totally mimic a peacock's feathers!



To achieve the two-toned peacock, I first stamped the image in Green Galore and then just rolled the bottom edge in Tempting Turquoise...beautiful! This technique is called Rock-n-Roll and can be used on a variety of images...just roll a little or a lot!
