Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 25 {Tropical Party Sneak Peek} & Giveaway

These napkins just popped off the page when I was browsing at the purl bee! This challenge is dedicated to the beloved Bold Brights that some will be retiring later this summer! These fun spring napkins inspired me to use Only Orange, Green Galore, Yoyo Yellow, Pixie Pink & Whisper White.

To participate in the Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 25...

1. Create a papercrafted (card, scrapbook page, or 3D) project using these colors or similar shades.
2. Post it on your blog or other public gallery (Splitcoaststampers, Paper Craft Planet, Stampin' Addicts, etc.) using the keywords Curtain Calland make sure to include a link back here to the challenge.
3. Enter your name and the direct link to your project in the Mr. Linky box below.

Please note the new deadline will be Friday night: You have until Friday, April 16th before midnight (CST) to enter your Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 25 project.

Join us for the Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 25 and you could be one of the next Show Stoppers! We have two awards up for grabs plus a giveaway (details below)! Those chosen as "The Lead" and "Top 5" will receive an award to post on their blog(s) and share the exciting news!

Tropical Friends

Now, that wasn't so bad...using four Bold Brights colors on the same card. I love the quad-ruffled border along the bottom portion wrapped with a pretty Whisper White Organza bow. The images from Tropical Party are from the new Summer Mini Catalog that will be available on May 1st. Not only is this a great summer set, it has coordinating designer series paper, too!

Besides the Tropical Party stamp set sneak peek, there is another product here that is brand-new and will be offered in the upcoming mini. The designer series paper (feels like cardstock) used for the base of my card and the flowers/tag is called Presto Patterns Specialty. It's plain white but has the awesome feature of taking on any color your little heart desires. Stamp (which is what I've done here), sponge, spritz or brayer your ink and the results are AMAZING!

No chickening out this week from these bright colors...LOL! If I can do it, so can YOU! Just pull out the colors and see where the inspiration takes you. Just remember, you can use a little of each color or a lot:) Can't wait to see where this inspiration takes you...now, go for it!

Stamps: Tropical Party, Tiny Tags
Paper: Presto Patterns Specialty DSP, Kaleidoscope DSP
Ink: Green Galore, Pixie Pink, Only Orange, Yoyo Yellow
Other: Bold Brights Brads, Paper Piercing Tool, Mat Pack, Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Tiny Tag & Scallop Edge Punches, White Crochet Thread (non-SU)

GIVEAWAY

I was in a local craft store recently and when I saw these goodies, I immediately thought they would be a great giveaway for this color challenge. See the Green Galore, Yoyo Yellow, Only Orange, Pixie Pink in the design? There is a set of coordinating file folders, a 5 X 5 sprial-bound journal, and a set of binder clips...all of them are useful, don't you think?

The winner of this bold & bright office bundle will be randomly chosen from the Curtain Call participants this week:)

Hahaha, I'm sure we all agree that the best way to let these colours stand out is to pair them with white :) I love this DP, it's so beautifully textured... and these stamps are fab-o!!
I love how you picked the prize that resembles the challenge colours AND your card's style so much - how clever! (and generous) So much fun to be in the Crew, I tell ya'... :)

Never would've thought to use that DSP for a scalloped, 'frilly', border - looks fantastic. Yep, the cardbase is stunning, and I love everything about your card!
