Lovely Bird

There's nothing like a great sketch to get your Monday started off right! Kazan's Sketch #52 at 2 Sketches 4 You is up and running, so head on over and take a look at all of the wonderful Design Team samples:)

Our sponser at 2 Sketches 4 You this week is Whimsy Haven digital images. As soon as I saw this "Lovely Bird" image, I knew it was the one for me...I also paired it up with the "Miss You" image.

I made this card with my good friend, Lora, in mind. Besides being one of the BEST teachers I know, she is one of those friends that is hard to come by...always compassionate, fun & loving, true to herself all the time:) Miss you, Lora!

The To the Nines Specialty Designer Series Paper pack was the color inspiration for my card. I love the earthy feel of the chocolate, sage & olive with the sweet bird image. After adding a little stitching, some copic coloring, scallop trim, some pretty brads, and yummy ribbon...my card was complete!

Happy Monday folks! Hope to see you playing along at 2 Sketches 4 You:)

Stacey, this card is such a STUNNER! I'm in love with this colour combo for the start, and the little addition of green adds just the right amount of WOW factor... and the stitching... yummy!
