Curtain Call Color Challenge: {ACT 41}

The color challenge will remain at the top of my blog page until Friday night. Please scroll down to see updates through the week. Thanks!

After last week's ultra-bright color scheme, I thought it was time to tone things down a bit. These crochet-covered sea urchins from purl bee drew me in and seemed perfect for a calm, cool and relaxing inspiration! Grab your Crumb Cake, new Marina Mist, Night of Navy & Whisper White...can't wait to see what your come up with!

To participate in the Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 41...

1. Create a papercrafted (card, scrapbook page, or 3D) project using these colors or similar shades.
2. Post it on your blog or other public gallery (Splitcoaststampers, Paper Craft Planet, Stampin' Addicts, etc.) using the keywords Curtain Call 41 and make sure to include a link back here to the challenge.
3. Enter your name and the direct link to your project in the Mr. Linky box below.

Please note the deadline will be Friday night. You have until Friday, August 6th before midnight (CST) to enter your Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 41 project.

Join us for the Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 41 and you could be one of the next Show Stoppers! We have two awards up for grabs plus a giveaway (details below)! Those chosen as "The Lead" and "Top 5" will receive an award to post on their blog(s) and share the exciting news!

Just for You

I inked the floral image in Crumb Cake, Marina Mist and Night of Navy markers, then spritzed it with Stampin' Mist...see how it washed out the flowers...so cool! If you don't want the washed-out look, just spritz some water instead.

Stamps: Just Believe
Paper: Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Whisper White CS, Woodland Park DSP
Ink: Crumb Cake, Marina Mist, Night of Navy Stampin' Write Markers
Other: Stampin' Mist, Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Whisper White Taffeta ribbon, Neutrals Designer Brads, Linen Thread, Distressing Essentials, Color Spritzer, flower pins (non-SU)

Wow, Stacey, this one is just so calm and comforting. The watercolor effect of the flowers and the spritz of navy ink are gorgeous, and they work beautifully with the woodgrain dp. I may just sit here and look at it all day!
