This lovely bouquet of Icelandic Poppies from A Creative Mint is the inspiration for today! So pretty!

1. Create a papercrafted (card, scrapbook page, or 3D) project using these colors or similar shades.
2. Post it on your blog or other public gallery (Splitcoaststampers, Paper Craft Planet, Stampin' Addicts, etc.) using the keywords Curtain Call 46 and make sure to include a link back here to the challenge.

Friends Never Fade

I'm loving that Poppy Parade gingham printed DSP from the Pawsitively Prints II DSP pack! I used it as the background of my card on a Pink Pirouette card base. After punching a strip of Wild Wasabi and layering it with some Greenhouse Gala DSP, I used the sewing machine to add a little trim on it, then added some gathered Peach Parfait Poly Twill ribbon. After stamping the main image with Poppy Parade ink, adding some glitter to the flower center, I layered it onto a piece of Pink Pirouette cardstock then adhered it over the card front. Finally, a full bow was added to the gathered ribbon trim with a couple of crystal pins peeking from the top.

Stamps: Friends Never Fade
Paper: Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White CS, Pawsitively Prints & Greenhouse Gala DSP
Ink: Poppy Parade
Other: Scallop Trim Punch, Peach Parfait Poly Twill Ribbon, 2-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Crystal Pins, Sewing Machine, thread

What beautiful poppies, and the colours, well - fab. I've got itchy fingers to have a go already. Love the dimension you've achieved in your card, Stacey and a poppy in there to boot too.

Stacey, I LOVE this card, it's so fresh and pretty! Now I will have to get that paper pack as I used EVERY scrap of the pink and red gingham that was in the Bella Rose package awhile back:)

I have been missing playing along! I made a card last week, but life got in the way and I didn't upload it! Thanks for making me use the new colors! :)

What a cheerful card! Kinda of funny how you "forget" how much you love something until something (or someone) reminds you. I adore gingham...so I really love this card! Great stamping! Your image is perfect!
