Good morning! Hoping this finds you all rested and ready to tackle a new week:) It's time for another challenge at The Pink Elephant! This week, we challenge you to create an wedding/anniversary-themed project for TPE 165.
My anniversary card was inspired by the color palette, PDCC 148, over at The Play Date Cafe, using navy, stone, and peach.
The Retrosketches #28 worked well for the layout of my card.
The Friday Mashup #75 asked for a little sewing...check...and I stumbled on a new-to-me challenge, Young Crafters Unite Challenge 13: Hot Trends. I'm not sure if I'm eligible for the "young" part, but I love using layered flags on my cards, which I consider a "hot trend." I'm on the lookout from some hexagon dies, though, so if you have any you would recommend, let me know:)
Thanks for stopping by the stage! Hope to see you over at The Pink Elephant for this week's challenge:)
Stamps: Layered Labels (SU), sentiment (PTI)
Ink: Basic Gray
Paper: Peach Parfait, Whisper White CS, assorted DSP (SU)
Other: Big Shot, Labels die, Designer buttons neutral, Peach Parfait polytwill ribbon, square punch, rhinestones (SU), Copics, white twine, sewing machine
