Verve Stamps October Spotlight Hops - Day 1

Welcome to our October 2013 Spotlight Hops!  

We're so excited to preview Verve's newest stamp sets and dies with you! Over the next few days, the Divas will be shining their Verve spotlights on a different set each day, so stay tuned for a fun series of inspirational hops... and PRIZES, too! Everything previewed this week will be available in the Verve online store Friday night, 10/25.

Someone pinch me!  I'm still over the moon to be guesting at Verve Stamps!  This new release is absolutely amazing...I swear, each release seems to top the last!  You are in for a TREAT this week, for sure!  Chevron Love has some fabulous chevron patterned images and all occasion-themed sentiments in gorgeous fonts, and those new dies, Heart Quartet, are to die for!

To show off the new stamps and dies, I took to the most perfect sketch, Viva la Verve October Week 3, to showcase a LOVE collage!  The new stamp set, Chevron Love not only matches up with the Heart Quartet Die Set, but also the previously released Wavy Hearts Die Set, Scalloped Trim Trio Die Set & Jotted Heart Die!

I die cut some of the precious hearts with patterned paper and stamped a couple of them with images from the new set!  After adhering them together in a clustered collage, I stitched each one of them separately with the sewing machine.  I add a sprinkling of those dainty sequins, too, from the Pastel Sequin Mix that was released last month!

I must send a shout-out to my friend, Annette Allen at My Clever Creations!  She gave me pile of patterned paper pads when I visited Denver...and I used one of those pads on my card today, Echo Park Love Story.  Big hugs, Annette!
