TAWS Be Inspired #29 - Thanks So Much

There's a new TAWS Be Inspired Challenge up and running just in time for Memorial Day weekend!  I adore the red, white, and blue color palette paired up with the fun sketch over at Cardabilities.  The sweet sentiment is from The Alley Way Stamps Delicate Doilies stamp set...adore that loopy font!

The Anything Goes challenges at Word Art Wednesday and 52 Card Pickup are up and running again this week, too...and to celebrate the holiday, the CAS-ual Friday Challenge #102 and Really Reasonable Ribbon both have a Red, White, and Blue theme!

My card came out somewhat simple this time, but I love the blue polka dotted vellum for my layered flower!

Hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend!  Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

The Pink Elephant - Spring Theme Challenge

Good morning!  Let's celebrate SPRING with a new theme challenge at The Pink Elephant!

I am linking up to 52 Card Pickup and I was inspired by the deconstructed sketch 96  and Glitter 'N Sparkle 27: Buttons to bring this sweet BLD (By LORi Designs) image called Pedal Pusher Audrey to life!  I adore her curly hair...don't you?!

The Pedal Pusher Audrey image from By LORi Designs can be purchased in a wonderful spring bundle or individually!

I colored the image with Copic markers and layered Miss Audrey with some fun spring colors and patterns!

Thanks for stopping by the stage!

The Alley Way Stamps April Sneak Peek Day 1

How cute is that sweet little tag with the mini tree and sentiment?!...and...see that peek of arrows behind the tag...LOVE!  This new TAWS (The Alley Way Stamps) stamp set that will be released on April 1st (NO foolin') is called Tag-alongs and you will love it!  It has the sweetest miniature images and sentiments with some fun arrows and a perfect tag stamp to bring it all together!  Super F-U-N!

I was inspired by a few challenges...the retrosketches 56, the Cupcake Inspiration 203, 52 Card Pick-Up and the Lawnscaping 54.

There are LOADS of new goodies on this card...I struck a gold mine at JoAnn's the other day...with the new Basic Grey line called Hey You!  The colors and patterns helped me pull of this fun card for the first sneak peek day at The Alley Way Stamps!

Simply the Best...

Are you ready for a new AMAZING sketch, STB #11 (Feminine-themed) from Seize the Birthday...and another chance to win this beautiful stamp set from Uniko Studio, Bright Butterflies?!

I was also inspired by the lovely colors and vintage feel of this inspiration photo over at The Ribbon Reel!  Gorgeous aqua, pink and yellow... and ribbon, of course:)  The Crafting Love A"Flair" over at Paper Issues and the 52 Card Pickup are up and running this week, too!

Did you notice the sentiment from Bright Butterflies stamped repeatedly on the banner panel...to create a scripted background effect?!  The font is so pretty and I think it works great this way!  Also, the butterfly is heat embossed, panel is color spritzed on the corners and a few rhinestones were added for some bling!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Don't Ever Change

This little guy SO reminds me of my Benny Boy, even though he's called BLD Birdhouse Brian!  Ben is always carrying some type of tool or gadget around with him and "working" on a project of some sort! I hope Ben never changes his inquisitive and tinkering personality!  LOVE my boy!

and...I LOVE this adorable image which is one of Lori's newest images for Spring from the BLD Pedal Pushers line.  Birdhouse Brian is bundled up in a group of 4 images at a savings or you can purchase him separately:)  Plus, there are several more new images for spring you MUST check out!  ADORABLE!

The Deconstructed Sketch 91 was the layout I went with for my card!  Love banners and flags any day!  These challenges are also going on today...  52 Card Pickup #29, and  Inspire Me Friday 98.

Thanks for stopping by the stage!  Go check out By LORi Designs newest images for your spring crafting!  They will put a smile on your face:)

Happily Ever After - MFTWSC111

It is a dreary day here in central Illinois...wind is blowing, spitting rain...blah!  Nothing better than lifting my spirits with a little stamping using some MFT stamps...  I'm thinking this would be a wonderful anniversary card for my hubby...we will celebrate our 17th year of marriage this June...so hard to believe!

The sketch challenge, MFTWSC111 over at My Favorite Things, is fabulous this week...definitely a go-to, and come-back-to kinda sketch!  LOVE it's versatility!

I am entering this lovey-dovey card at the 52 Card PickupDynamic Duo #40, Raise the Bar 131: Anything Goes, Really Reasonable Ribbon 77, and Friday Mashup #97: Texture and/or Markers.

I stamped the sentiment from last month's triple scoop set, Lovey-Dovey Sentiments, then layered up some yummo paper and embellishments...oh, and wee bit of stitching!

Monochromatic & Masculine

Happy Monday and happy TPE day! It's time for another challenge over at The Pink Elephant. This week, you are challenged to create a monochromatic project for TPE 166.
For my monochromatic and masculine-themed card, I used very vanilla, chocolate chip, soft suede, crumb cake and other neutral brown tones. Since the Retrosketches #29 looked so awesome, I tried to make my card fit for that challenge. Friends of Speedy over at Mark's Finest Papers has a fun Bingo Challenge, too!
The Crazy 4 Challenges 154 is offering a prize this week for their "Anything Goes with a Fall Twist," and anything goes, as usual over at the 52 Card Pickup.
Thanks for stopping by the stage. Have a wonderful week:)
