Two challenges were combined to create this birthday card...Kazan's Sketch #46 at 2 Sketches 4 You and the Color Dare #56 ~ Tempting Rich Plums using Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum, Tempting Turquoise & Basic Black.



I used my Stampin' Write Markers to color on the daisy image...a little messy coloring makes for a cool watercolored effect.

Two challenges again...the Fall-To Layout #78 at Clean & Simple and the Color Dare #55 ~ Crushed Blue Kiwi using some wild colors (Crushed Curry, Brilliant Blue, Kiwi Kiss & Kraft). This awesome sketch and fun colors definately sent me into a DAREing and creative mode with this wacky card!

friends ~ FTL 77 & CD 54

The Clean & Simple Fall-to Layout #77 and the Color Dare #54 were the perfect combination for this clean & simple card with calming colors. I found a new challenge blog called Saturday Spotlight...so I thought I'd enter this card with the Tiny Tags sentiment for the Teeny Tiny Time challenge.

The Old Olive card base measures 6" X 3" with a panel featuring the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set...this set speaks for itself, especially on a vast white space...love it! The panel of floral images were collage stamped using Old Olive, Pacific Point & Baja Breeze, with a Basic Gray sentiment from the Tiny Tags set. The textured centers of the flowers and Basic Gray bow are Basic Gray Corduroy Buttons. I dug through some retired DSP again and found a little bit of a Baja Breeze pattern, layered it on a piece of Pacific Point that was punched with the Scallop Trim punch.

I've been thinking about some masculine looking valentine cards for my hubby...so for this card, I did some experimenting. I was inspired by two challenges, the Color Dare #52 using Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Only Orange & Brocade Blue and Everything But the Kitchen Sink Sketch #3. The straight lines of the sketch and this rugged color combo seemed the perfect choices for a hubby card:)

Whew...three challenges in one! It took me most of the afternoon to plan and complete (with a few interruptions for my three kiddos), but here it is. I found a new color challenge, The Color Dare #10 using Cameo Coral, Soft Suede & Bashful Blue. The Ways to Use It Challenge #251 over at Splitcoaststampers motivated me to dust off the Sense of Time stamp set and all was encorporated in Laura's Sketch #42 over at 2 Sketches 4 You. This was a fun card to make and I hope you all like it:)
