Verve Stamps - October 2016 Diva Inspiration Challenge & Blog Hop

Hey there, Verve fans!

It's time for the Verve Divas to bring you our monthly Diva Inspirations Challenge and Blog Hop!

There are TWO $30 gift vouchers to the Verve store up for grabs this month and two ways to win! First, comment on the design team's blog hop posts (linked below) for an entry in the first giveaway. Then to be entered into our challenge prize drawing, go get inky and link up your take on the challenge. You have until November 5 to link up. Feel free to play along with the challenge as many times as you like. Verve stamps aren't required to play, but we do smile a little brighter when we see them!

The Cat's Pajamas - TCP Tuesday Challenge - Flowers Bloom

Hey there, stamping friends!

It's time for a new TCP Tuesday Challenge...this time it's all about PATTERNS!  Oh, how I love patterns!  

Here are the FUN stamps and CutUps from The Cat's Pajamas that I used on my  patterned card today!

The Bitty Banners CutUps are the perfect dies to make a play on patterns!  After cutting them with three different patterned papers, I displayed them in banner-like fashion with a bit of twine.  To finish of this layered card, I added a stamped sentiment from the Nature's Hello stamp set.

Okay, no really!  Isn't this fox just the cutest one you ever did see?!
I'm absolutely smitten by this new stamp set, Fall Fox, illustrated by Becky Pearce!

I stamped, Copic-colored and die cut the raking fox from the new Fall Fox stamp and die set, then displayed her over vellum Zig Zag Stitched Circle and among many Lovely Leaves cut from our new patterned paper!  The Party Banner Duo is hung over that amazing new Harlequin Cover Plate background and some of our new Country Charm paper peeking through!  The sentiment tag was inked up and placed over the banners to finish off the card.

Of course, this layer girl had to grab my trusty SugarCtus - Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles and use them, too!

After selecting some fun papers from our new collection pack, I cut the SugarCuts Lovely Leaves  Coordinating Die and displayed them with a "free-falling" look over the cover panels.  The Lovely Leaves sentiment was inked up with some pigment ink and stamped over the vellum rectangle, then a few sequins were sprinkled about.

I stamped the images from both Barn to Be Wild and Best of Cluck, then die cut with the coordinating SugarCuts.  For a pop of color, I colored that cook chick with some shades of yellow, allowing the awesome background paper, Countryside Charm Patterned Paper Collection, and Farmscape SugarCuts shine!  The vellum frame was cut from the Birthday Journal Card SugarCuts...for some added depth and interest!

Reverse Confetti - November SFYTT

Here are the Reverse Confetti goodies that I used on my thankful card today!

 I stamped partial sentiments from the Walk By Faith on a couple of Layered Banner Duo Confetti Cuts banners that were cut down and adhered under the horizontal piece.  One of the Quick Card Panels - Weather or Dot (and Stripes) creates a great backdrop for this fall-themed thankful card!  Finally, the card front is all tied up with some fun Solid Natural Twine!
