STAY TUNED...

 Hi there, stamping friends!
I had a chance to use some fun new stamps and dies from My Favorite Things today and couldn't wait to share!

There are two challenges going on now, too, so it was a perfect time for me to play along with these new goodies that I received at a craft retreat a few weeks ago.

Here are the graphics for the current MFT Card Challenges!

After getting the Sour Apple Card Stock card base ready and adding a couple of angled patterned paper panels, I went to work on the super fun focal point...that TV!  When I first saw that LLD Stay Tuned stamp set and Die-namics LLD Television, I instantly began reminiscing about my childhood when we had to get up off the couch and "flip" the channel knob manually!

For the card, I layered all of those fun pieces of the television together and added a sentiment stamped over a piece of vellum to adhere across the center.  This card is perfect for my oldest son who will turn 15 at the end of the month....he watches a bit of TV also and should get a chuckle out of this retro TV style that his mom and dad used to watch "back in the day."  LOL!

Reverse Confetti March SFYTT Recap - Honey

Hey there, Reverse Confetti Fans!
There's still plenty of time to play along with us at this month's Sketch For You To Try!

I stamped the adorable The Buzz bee in Lawn Fawn Hippo dye ink over a piece of My Mind's Eye Jubilee Mint Julep paper and die cut with The Buzz Confetti Cuts.  I used the Folded Tag Confetti Cuts and Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts as the backdrop for the sweet bee.  After slicing the Wonky Scallop Border Confetti Cuts in half, it was added as a "floor" for the cluster of confetti!

Curtain Call - Jelly Bean

Hey there, stamping friends!
It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

The Jelly Bean LEAD will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!

I stamped the adorable Reverse Confetti More Than Jelly Beans bunny in Lawn Fawn Walnut  dye ink, then die cut him with More Than Jelly Beans Confetti Cuts and embellished with a baker's twine bow.  The More Than Jelly Beans Confetti Cuts eggs were cut from some brightly colored burlap and paired up with Double Banner Garland Confetti Cuts to create a "nest" of sorts to showcase that cute bunny.  After a few layers of pretty My Mind's Eye Jubilee Sherbet papers, I added a couple of clouds from Sun 'n Clouds Confetti Cuts.

Make sure you visit each of the designers' blogs for more inspiration!
