Hello Summer...SMILE

All you'll see me doing these days is just that!  SMILE-ing!
I LOVE SUMMER...and am having a ball playing along in some awesome paper crafting challenges, and trying some techniques...some old, some new!

The Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge this week is the Baby Wipe Stamping technique!  This is an oldie, but a goodie!  I paired this fun technique up with Lesley's sketch at The Challenge, and the Moxie Fab World Challenge

The Carta Bella Hello Again papers seem like they're made for these cool Papertrey Ink stamps and dies that I used on my card!  There's also a sprinkling of my favorite sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to jazz it all up a bit!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Season's Greetings

What a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend it has been...a delicious meal with family, a little bargain shopping, a dinner and movie date with my hubby, Christmas decorating, and of course...lots of papercrafting!
How many of my stamping friends had this book as a child?! It was one of my all time favorites...and a perfect inspiration for my project today!
This scrappy holiday card was inspired by the Cover Art Inspiration, retro sketches 39, the Make It Monday 92: Layered Vellum Die Cuts, and Crazy 4 Challenges 164: Put a Bow On It.
Isn't this new paper, All is Bright by My Mind's Eye,...so completely gorgeous?! Creating the embossed, glittery vellum snowflakes was a new technique that I learned from the fabulous Melissa Phillips from the Make It Monday challenge...and I used her double bow technique, too...a little different from my usual way of making bows! Check out her fantastic tutorial video!
