Be Mine - Verve

I was missing my Verve Stamps, so I pulled out some of my Valentine-themed stamps, dies and embellishments to whip up a sweet card.  

I took some liberties with the new Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #379, but love those layered panels.  It's contest week at Mojo Monday, too, so it's a great time to enter for a chance to win some VERVE goodness of your own!

Wavy Hearts Die Set

Holiday Sequin Mix

The Wavy Hearts Die Set was cut from some alpha-printed paper and placed behind the focal panel to create a border/background effect.  After layering some paper and journal cards, I stamped the More Than Love "Happy Valentine's Day" and "be mine" sentiments over the front panel and added another wavy heart die cut to the center.  To finish of the card, the  center heart was stitched using a combination of zigzag and straight line and finally, some Holiday Sequin Mix was scattered about for some blingy-shine.

Pink Power Blog Hop

My good friend, Chaitali of Cuts, Crops & Creativity, invited me along with some other designer friends to join her in spreading awareness of breast cancer and support our loved ones who have been affected by breast cancer.

Chaitali has rounded up some of her crafty friends to help spread breast cancer awareness. This is a cause close to her heart after her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year.  Chaitali designed the Verve Stamps Pink Power stamp set for her mom with a lot of love.  She is also sponsoring this hop with the set for the hop guests, while some of the Verve Designers are playing in the hop today, too!

We Remember Moments... Verve Diva Dare

Hey there, Verve fans!  

I'm up on the Verve Stamps Blog today as your Diva Dare hostess!

Inside Out - July Diva Dare

This month we're daring you to create a stamped card and continue the design on the inside for a special surprise for the recipient.  Simply carry over some portion of the card front design on to the inside of your card. 

Aren't those feathers from the new Moments Remembered stamp set the most GORGEOUS things you've ever seen?!

After stamping and fussy cutting two of those beautiful feathers, I paired them up with a coordinating sentiment from the same stamp set.  There is a peek of Flag It Die Set under the fancy Signature Ribbon Collection bow and several Shine Bright Sequin Mix sprinkles scattered here and there.

  

Here's a snapshot of the the inside...

I kept it simple here with a second sentiment and smaller feather from Moments Remembered.

There are still a couple of days to play along with this week's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #354, too!  I also used the Color Throwdown #301...there are tiny coral dots in the chevron pattern on my card...
