Seize the Sketch - Take Flight

Good morning, sketch fans!
It's time for me to say farewell to the Seize the Sketch family, but you can bet I will be back to play along often!  Even though I won't be an official STS designer, I will stop in often to visit the amazing team that I adore and will play along often!

There's still time to play along with Seize the Sketch #15!  I paired the sketch up with the subtle color combo at Dynamic Duos, DD #93.

I dusted off a gorgeous set from My Favorite Things, Mona Pendleton Designs Winged Beauties and the matching Dienamics!  The soft and chic papers from the new Glitz Carpe Diem line was PERFECT with these butterflies!  Oh, and have I mentioned that I LOVE my new Simon Says Stamp inks..oh my goodness, the are amazing!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Seize the Sketch Reminder with Mona Pendleton Designs

Have you checked out the challenge over at Seize the Sketch created by Jen Nelson!  There's still time to play along!

Mona Pendleton generously provided her beautiful stamps and dies for the team to work with!  The stamp and die set that I was able to use are called MPD Contemporary Roses and are available in the My Favorite Things store!  They are utterly gorgeous!  These stamps and dies will also be given to the winner of our challenge!

The Heidi Swapp Good Life papers are amazing!  Who knew mint and peach would make a comeback and be so BEAUTIFUL...together...and that pop of pink with contrasting gray...LOVE!

I die cut this beautiful paper with the roses and leaves dies, and did a little detail stamping on the roses...added a few sequins and some twine...viola!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Mona Pendleton Designs at Seize the Sketch

You're going to love our new challenge over at Seize the Sketch!
Jen Nelson whipped this one up for us to play along with...isn't it fabulous?!
What could be even better than a sketch to work with...well, how about a wonderful sponsor to go along with it?!

Mona Pendleton and her lovely self is joining us for the challenge this week, and generously provided her beautiful stamps and dies for us to use!  The stamp and die set that I was able to use are called MPD Contemporary Roses and are available in the My Favorite Things store!  They are utterly gorgeous!  These stamps and dies will also be given to the winner of our challenge!

The colors over at the Friday Mashup Challenge #133 worked great to showcase these beautiful roses!

I inked up those delicious roses, leaves and sentiment with Ranger Distress inks and used some yummo American Crafts Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party papers!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!  Make sure you stop in at Seize the Sketch and see what Mona and my fabulous designer co-parts created using those fantastic MPD stamps and dies!
