Happy Together ~ Laura's #48 & Color Chef #44

A quiet night at home tonight....and I was able to sneak in my stamp room and whip another challenge card! This card combines two challenges, Laura's Sketch #48 at 2 Sketches 4 You and Kelly Jo's Color Chef Challenge #44 with Bright Pink, Turquoise, Black & White.



I grabbed a few of pieces of DSP from the Pink Flamingo, Razzleberry Lemonade and Night & Day packs. I love mixing dsp patterns to bring new life to a card! The sweet image is from the Happy Together stamp set and was inked up in Tempting Turquoise, then marked with Basic Black marker on the feet and beaks. The Scallop Trim punch was put to good use to create some depth to my card and coordinates with the Basic Black Grosgrain ribbon around the center and Vintage brads in the corners.

I combined three challenges for this card today...The Pink Elephant #54 ~ Recipe Challenge to use ribbon...and two sketches that are SO similar...Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch #56 and Everything But the Kitchen Sink #9 Sketch Challenge.

This card was inspired by the Splitcoaststampers Clean & Simple Challenge #25 and Kelly Jo's Color Chef Challenge #16. The CAS sketch was based off of a card that Krystie Lee made, and Kelly Jo's color combination is Dark Blue, Light Blue, Gray & White.
