Just Thinking About You ~ RSCC8 & FTL44

Thank you Dawn and Natasha for getting me out of my stamping funk, if that's what you call it! I have not been able or wanted to stamp in several days...with moving my classroom to a new building and getting organized at home with the kids for summer...I have been a little stressed! Whew! It feels so good to stamp and create, so I imagine I'll be at my stamping table most of day to get caught up:) I used Dawn McVey's Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #8 and Natasha's Fall-To Layout #44 to get the creative juices flowing today!

Just don't look too close, I'm a little rusty! Don't you just hate it when you get your card almost finished and you mess up the stamp...ugh! Anyway, enough complaining, right? When I saw Dawn's inspiration photo, I knew I wanted to use a floral stamp, but the tricky part was...which one? Then, when I stumbled on the Natasha's layout, the Eastern Blooms stamp set became the perfect choice!

Stamps: Eastern Blooms, On Your Birthday
Paper: Kraft, Pink Passion, Very Vanilla CS, Sweet Always DSP
Ink: Pink Passion, Chocolate Chip
Other: Kraft Taffeta ribbon, Stamp-a-majig, Scallop Edge Punch, Crafters Tool Kit, 3/8" Jumbo Brads, Stampin' Dimensionals

Beautiful work! I'm hoping your colors from Sunday will get me out of my funk. The end of the school year takes it all out of me!

Love everything about this, Stacey - the colours, the stamps you used, the ribbon, the layout!! Don't stress over 'imperfections'; that's the beauty of handmade!
