Amazing, Etc.

Two challenges went into play with this card today...Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #63 and Arielle's ColourQ Challenge #22. The colors for the cQc22 are Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze (retired), Night of Navy, Sahara Sand & White...such great boyish colors. However, it seems that no matter how boyish the colors of my card are, the finished product is usually girly:)

Stamps: On a Pedestal
Paper: Sahara Sand, Certainly Celery, Night of Navy, Baja Breeze, Whisper White CS, Shades of Spring & retired DSP
Ink: Night of Navy
Other: Baja Breeze Corduroy Buttons (retired), Boho Blossoms & Scallop Edge Punches, Linen Thread, Paper Piercing Tool, Certainly Celery 5/8" Grosgrain, Oval/Scallop Oval Nestabilities

Fabulous card, Stacey! Love the way you used the navy as trim. Lovely flower and the corduroy button is perfect on the bow. Laundry is now caught up, sheets are washed and beds are all made so hopefully tomorrow I can get more than one card done! Tracked down some kraft at a LSS store too so I'm ready to rumble :D

BEYOOTIFUL! When I saw the colors, I too thought it would make a good boy card...but did I? NOPE! :) It's SO hard to step out of the box even when the *obvious* is staring you in the face! LOL :)
