Curtain Call Color Challenge: {ACT 36} ~ Happy 4th of July & BLOG CANDY

These Harbor Stripe Outdoor Pillows from Pottery Barn are a perfect inspiration for the Independence Day coming up this week! I hope you're inspired to create a project for this special American holiday using Real Red, Night of Navy, Kraft (Crumb Cake), and Whisper White.

To learn the history of our Independence Day in the United States, click here.

To participate in the Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 36...

1. Create a papercrafted (card, scrapbook page, or 3D) project using these colors or similar shades.
2. Post it on your blog or other public gallery (Splitcoaststampers, Paper Craft Planet, Stampin' Addicts, etc.) using the keywords Curtain Call 36 and make sure to include a link back here to the challenge.
3. Enter your name and the direct link to your project in the Mr. Linky box below.

Please note the deadline will be Friday night. You have until Friday, July 2nd before midnight (CST) to enter your Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 36 project.

Join us for the Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 36 and you could be one of the next Show Stoppers! We have two awards up for grabs plus a giveaway (details below)! Those chosen as "The Lead" and "Top 5" will receive an award to post on their blog(s) and share the exciting news!

Let's Celebrate

For this patriotic card, I embossed some Real Red, Whisper White & Night of Navy cardstock with an Impressions Plate, cut strips in red and white and a small navy rectangle and adhered all to a scrap piece of cardstock in a flag design. After piercing and inserting the Rhinestone brads, all was adhered onto a Crumb Cake card base that includes a white and kraft panel stitched with the sewing machine.

To finish it off, I added a "let's celebrate' take with an additional Rhinestone brad.

Stamps: On Your Birthday
Paper: Crumb Cake (Kraft), Real Red, Night of Navy, Whisper White CS
Ink: Night of Navy
Other: Mat Pack & Paper Piercing Tool, Big Shot, Impressions Plate, Rhinestone Brads, sewing machine & thread

The Curtain Call Crew has samples to show you today, too, so make sure you stop by to see:
