Sweet Birthday

My daughter, Hannah, is going to a birthday swim party on Sunday....she is so excited, by the way! We headed to Justice to shop for Annika's 5th birthday...Hannah was able to find a cute little necklace, bracelet, and pair of earrings all with colorful peace signs on them.

I knew before we left the mall that this darling jewelry set needed a papercrafted gift bag and handstamped tag...and what perfect stamps to use...the Feelin' Groovy set from Taylored Expressions, designed by Taylor herself.

The sewing machine came in handy to add some fabric ruffles with the usual patterned paper, ribbon and button! I stitched the bottom edge of a 4" strip of tie-dyed pink fabric, then gathered it onto the gift bag with some Sticky Strip. The smaller piece was added similarly to the gift tag.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend:)

Supplies:

Stamps: Feelin' Groovy (Taylored Expressions)
Paper: patterned paper & cardstock (Taylored Expressions)
Ink: Black Tuxedo (Momento), Melon Mambo (SU), Copics
Other: ribbon, button (Taylored Expressions), fabric, sewing machine, thread

Cute! I wanted to let you know that I think your e-mail account has been hacked--I received a bogus link from you this morning (addressed to me and a list of other people). I didn't want to send to your e-mail account to notify you so that the hacker doesn't get my address too (learned that one the hard way).
