Chalkboard Technique Attempt

So, you wouldn't have wanted to hear me earlier as I was struggling with this "new to me" technique, the chalkboard technique.  I think  it all went downhill when I dropped an almost full jar of white embossing powder on the floor before I even started embossing...grr!  After that I made so many mistakes that I had cover them up with some embellishments.  Needless to say, I'm not very happy how my card turned out, but I will try this technique again...hopefully with a better outcome:)

I used the MFTWSC106 at My Favorite Things as my layout inspiration and used the stamp set, Lovey Dovey Sentiments, that I got as a Triple Scoop!

The colors for my card are from this week's ColourQ Challenge 172...so pretty!

Again, don't look to close at my shabby work...ugh!

Thanks for stopping by the stage!
