Verve Guest Diva & May Spotlight Hop - Day 2

Welcome to our May 2013 Spotlight Hops - Day 2!

I'm having a blast as a Verve Guest Diva!  This May Release is so fabulous!...and how sweet is this banner that Julee created?!  LOVE!  Thanks, Julee..you sure know how to make a gal feel special!

Today we're shining our Verve spotlights on the new stamps Let It Be and Deepest Sympathy Plain Jane.  As you hop through the list below, you will see the first look at some new stamps...and you just might see some super sneaky peeks of new coordinating dies and ribbons, so keep your eyes peeled!  Everything you see previewed along today's hop will be available in Verve's online store on Friday, May 10.

Want to win some shiny new Verve?
We'll be picking a random commenter on one of the hop spots below to win today's featured products! So be sure to leave a little comment on all the blogs below to increase your chances! Check out the Verve Blog for all the prize details and deadlines.

Today's Prize: Let it Be, Deepest Sympathy Plain Jane

1. Julee
7. Andrea
8. Jen M.
3. Teresa
4. Stacey
10. Laurie S.

11. Janelle
12. Maureen
6. Marisa

This first card features the new stamp set called Let it Be...a beautiful sentiment set with flower images...

The second card I whipped up for today features Deepest Sympathy Plain Jane with a similar color scheme.

The ColourQ 188, retrosketches 62 and cardabilities 74 were the color and layout inspiration for my cards today!

I kept the cards fairly simple today...when you're in a pinch for a sympathy card or a "pick me up" card, you don't always have a great deal of time to make one.   All you need is a "go-to" stamp set like Let it Be or a Plain Jane sentiment, some pretty paper, a couple of die cuts, and maybe some ribbon and/or a button...and there you go, an uplifting card for a friend!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage today!  Stop back by tomorrow for Day 3 of Verve May Sneak Peeks!
