TPE - Father's Day Blessings

I so missed my craft cave over the weekend!  On the other hand, it was nice to get away for a couple of days...we went to my folks' house to visit and drop my daughter off to stay with Nana and Pop for the week...Hannah has been counting the days down to get her "Hannah/Nana/Pop Time!"

The Pink Elephant Challenge this week is a Father's Day Theme!  I hope you'll join me and the other TPE designers for the challenge this week and honor a father in your life, whether it's your father, grandfather, husband, son, or friend.

I used some fantastic VERVE stamps, On Occasion, and coordinating die Occasion Frame with the Viva la Verve June 2013 Sketch...the VLV sketches are always fantastic and allow my layering love to shine!  There's a new-to-me challenge up and running, Catered Crop: For the Boys Recipe Swap, that I thought I'd submit my masculine card to.

This card that I created is for my hubby!  He is one of the best dad's I know and I don't know how I'd be able to parent our three blessings without him!  I read a comment recently from a male crafter that stated men love color and bling, too!  So, here ya go...a blingy and colorful male card!

Thanks for stopping by the stage!

Stamps:  On Occasion (Verve)
Paper: La Creme Cardstock (DCWV), Hey Boy (Basic Grey)
Ink:  Rich Cocoa (Momento
Dies:  Occasions Frame (A Cut Above-Verve), Fishtail Flag Stax (MFT)
Other:  Hey Boy die cuts (Basic Grey), sequins (Avery Elle), sewing machine, thread
Pin It

Hey you! I was just looking at Catered Crop winners and there you were! I love all the shapes and patterns, and still perfectly masculine!
