Stacey, your cards are great as is your generous giveaway!
My favourite winter memories are of my Grandfather coming to visit us (when the roads were too bad for a vehicle) with his horses and sleigh. My sisters and I would run up the road to meet him as soon as we heard the horses bells! He would laugh as he saw us coming. He enjoyed it as much as we did! The joys of living in the country when you are growing up...Thanks for that question, I had not thought about that in some time!
Happy New Year!

I think my winter memory would be when we visited our son and family in Japan and the month was February and they had snow as well as us here in the US. Not sure I could make the trip anymore now as my health is not as good! So it is a cherished memory indeed!

My husband and I first knew each other via a writing group online, so my fave winter memory is flying to Montreal at christmas to meet him for the first time. It was only seven days and it was the most romantic seven days of my life!

My favorite winter memory is decorating the Christmas tree and hearing and telling stories about each of the ornaments on our tree. I've collected ornaments since I was a little girl and love to tell my boys where they came from or who they were from. Now they have started their own special ornament collections.

The Sugar Pea Have an Ice Day is fabulous! I would love that!

Unknown said...

When I was young we would slide down a street for several blocks on our sled when it snowed or got icy. It was so steep that the police put up barracades so that cars would not enter and then we could sled down.

I love the penguin set. It finally got cold in Texas (I have the cold to show for it). We were wearing shorts at Christmas and my husband had to mow the lawn. Guess our lack of winter draws me to penguin and snowmen.

Love those colors on both of your cards! What terrific giveaways as I love both of those stamp shops, too. (unfortunately, I have too many allergies and sensitivities to wear eye makeup) Thanks for the chance to win! My favorite winter memory is from a snowstorm years ago tunneling through the 6' drifts and making a little igloo inside. It's a favorite because I no longer have to put up with snow! : )

My favorite part of winter is snowmobiling! I don't do it quite as often now that I am busy but I remember when I was in elementary school we lived by a field and would just take off and ride forever. I took a girlfriend out and we got stuck. My family laughed at me then my older brother took pity on me and helped us get unstuck. Fun memories! Thanks for the giveaway.
