SugarPea Designs - Celebrate Cake

Hey there, SugarPea Designs friends!

How about the new June release?  Pretty amazing, yes?!
I grabbed some of the new SPD goodness to whip up a birthday card.  No stamping today...instead, using only festive paper and die cuts!

First off, I started by choosing some fun papers from the new It's a Celebration Patterned Paper Collection and cut a whole kit 'n kaboodle of layers using the new Stitched Note & Gift Card Holder, Birthday Journal Card and Party Banner Duo.

SugarPea Designs - New Release Day




Hello, SugarPea Designs fans!
It's the day you've been waiting for...the final peek day and shopping day!  Woot!


WELCOME TO DAY 5 OF OUR JUNE PRODUCT RELEASE!


Our entire June Product Release will be available for purchase starting this Friday, June 24th at 6PM EST in the SPD Store. 

Today we are showcasing Gift Greetings and the brand new Gift Card Holder die cut! Now you will be able to make some cute Gift Card holders! 



Here's a shot of the inside!  
This gift card holder is going to be incredibly handy...so many occasions to use it!  The little stamped card on the inside was cut from the previously released Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles...you know I use those on EVERYTHING!  The balloons on the front are cut from the new Celebrate Card SugarCuts.  
I have plans to use this SugarCuts as a layer on some future cards, too!

SugarPea Designs - Sweet Peeks New June Release Day 4



Hey there, SugarPea Designs friends!

Cake is always tasty and this new stamp set will help you to create some mouthwatering birthday concoctions! Trendy and graphic, this new stamp set is a bold way to express birthday greetings! We are also showcasing the new stamp set called HB2U!! This pretty sentiment is perfect for a quick and pretty card front!

Here's a closeup at that AWESOME birthday sentiment!!!  How beautiful is that font?!  I added several layers from the previously released Zig Zag Stitched Circles SugarCuts and the new SugarCuts.  The scalloped rectangle, stitched rectangle and balloon/bow are going to get LOTS of use!  Did you notice the confetti stamped over the balloon and rectangle?!  So FUN!

SugarPea Designs - Sweet Peek June Release Day 2


Hey again, SugarPea Designs fans!
Today's peeks are sure to make you crave a sweet, cold treat!

WELCOME TO DAY  2 OF OUR JUNE PRODUCT RELEASE!

Today we are thrilled to introduced a "Sweet" new addition to our stamp and die line! Summer Scoops is a tasty and fun new set that allows you to create "cool" cards for those wonderful people in your life!

Here's a closeup of the sugary goodness on my card!  What a fun card to make!  I stamped the popsicles and ice cream cone with some yummy colors, stamping off for the lighter of the shades. 
The sentiment is displayed in contrasting black ink and placed over lots of SugarCuts layers!  I used the previously released Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles, Zig Zag Stitched Circles and Chatterbox Journal Card SugarCuts then added some sequin sprinkles to finish it off.

The Cat's Pajamas - TCP Tuesday Challenge


Hey there, kitty lovers!
Today marks a new challenge over at The Cat's Pajamas!


This time we are challenged to create a project using Red, White, Blue Sparkle!  Just in time for the 4th of July in the USA!

I grabbed a couple of products from The Cat's Pajamas that reminded me of the holiday coming up...a 4th of July party usually calls from lemonade and vodka, right?!

I stamped the two phrases from the Lemons stamp set to create the focal panel and accented with a couple of sparkly Comic Balloons explosions!

Here's a closeup shot of my card!  I had a ball using all of the new goodies!  That new paper pad, It's a Celebration, is utterly ADORABLE!  Of course, I had to use some of that!!!
After cutting a couple of the previously released Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles SugarCuts, I added the new stuff!  The Party Banner Duo SugarCuts is SO MUCH FUN...it's displayed above the panels over the Celebrate SugarCuts and a sentiment from the Celebrate All Things stamp set for a little word play.

Verve Stamps - Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop


Hey there, Verve fans...and COFFEE fans!
I whipped up a new summer/coffee card to play along the new Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop using some Verve Stamps goodness!

After I found some fun summery paper, I picked out some super fun Verve from my stash.  I paired up two fabulous COFFEE-themed stamp sets, Coffee and Get Together.  The dies that I used from Verve Stamps are Cuppa Joe Die Set, Stitched Pennants Die Set and Partly Cloudy Die Set.


There are a couple of amazing sales at the Verve store that you won't want to pass up!

Here is a closeup shot of my SUMMER/COFFEE card.. LOVE that pennant, sun and coffee cup cluster...no matter how hot the summer gets, I gotta have my morning (and afternoon) coffee!

SugarPea Designs - Hugs

Hey there, SugarPeeps!
I was in the mood for a crisp and clean card using lots of white with a splash of color.  My SugarPea Designs goodies were perfect to whip up the look I was going for.  

I used all of these SPD goodies on my card today!





After cutting the paper down a quarter inch to use as the card background panel, I cut some vellum circles, a pineapple, "hugs" word, and a banner.  The sentiment was stamped over the vellum using some pigment ink...works great on vellum!  Once all the main elements were placed, I finished it off with some baker's twine and a sprinkling of sequins.
