Just Because ~ TESC 119

Taylor's sketch, Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #119, was the inspiration for my card today! It was the perfect layout for this darling Branching Out set from Taylored Expressions.



I stamped, colored and cut out two separate branches, then stamped, colored and die cut the birdhouse. The tricky part was lacing the Linen Thread from the birdhouse to the branch, but it was so worth the effort!

Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past Blog Hop

It's time for the Blast from the Past Blog Hop at Taylored Expressions! I chose to use the fantastic Branching Out stamp set. This set is super fun with branches, leaves, tree trunk and tree tops, along with several cute little accessories including sentiments! I've found that this stamp set is darling when it's showcased in almost ANY color combination...LOVE it!

I used several items from a card kit that I purchased from Taylored Expressions...the cardstock, designer paper, rub-ons, ribbon & buttons that all coordinate:)

Everything on this card is from the Taylored Expressions store! The stamps, paper, accessories, even the scallop border punch...it's a one-stop shop!

Branching Out...just because

This card was inspired by the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #107 (don't you just love the strand of buttons?)...



and the Diva Coffee Break Design Color Challenge #70 using Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery & Chocolate (missed the deadline...oops)...



and Debbie over at the Shabby Tea Room has a challenge called "Let's Get Scrappy" to use up some of those scraps that have been tossed to the side. I definately have plenty of those, so I used a few scraps of cardstock to die cut my little buttons.



I had so much fun making this card today...it's Good Friday...and it feels good to stamp "just because"... Have a great day, folks:)
