By LORi Designs Tuesday Inspiration
Love this sweet Lollipop Hannah image from By LORi Designs...she reminds me of my own sweet Hannah when she was a little one:) Pair one of Lori's precious images up with some Valentine paper, and you've got yourself a Valentine card that will melt the heart of your loved one!
The Deconstructed Sketch 82 was my layout inspiration for this sweet card. The Anything Goes Simple Salutations 25 is up and running over at MFPSpeedyTV, so link your creations up there this week for a chance to win a beautiful stamp set. The Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge 63: My New Toys (& Ribbon) worked for me today, too, since Lollipop Hannah is a "new to me" image:) With ribbon, buttons & twine, I'm submitting this card to the Pile On the Embellishments at Pile it On, too!
Hop on over to By LORi Designs to feast your eyes on some more Valentine/Love creations by our fabulous design team!

Laughter
Good morning and happy Monday! It's time for a fun challenge over at The Pink Elephant, TPE 164: Use Pattern Paper.
My card was also inspired by The Shabby Tea Room #129: Summer Cottage, with this gorgeous photo inspiration! The colors I used were Regal Rose, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake & White...love the pop of pink...a great chance to use some of my paper stash!
The sketch, RS#27, over at Retro Sketches was a goodie this week, too! This awesome sketch allowed me to use those fun flags and label die cut, along with some ribbon, button, and stick pins.
I also submitted this card to a new challenge, Simple Salutations: Anything Goes over at MFP Speedy Tv. Check it out! Thanks for stopping by the stage!

Thanks So Much
Hurricane Isaac moved it's way to central Illinois and it has rained and rained and rained for almost 24 hours...a rainy day is a perfect day to get crafty!
The ColourQ Challenge #152 using Crumb Cake, Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, Gumball Green, and White was my color inspiration for the card.
The Deconstructed Sketch #67 worked well with with the colors to create a thank you card.
My card features lots of layers, stitching and collage stamping. By the way, it was the first time I used the new and improved foam ink pads that Stampin' Up! offers...wow! Love them...such better coverage! I also submitted this card to the Sketch with a Twist Challenge at MFP Speedy TV.
Thanks for stopping by the stage! Hope you're staying dry this weekend:)

HEARTFELT
So excited! My Heartfelt card ROCKED the MASHUP! Thanks to the team over at Friday Mashup for the shout-out!
Happy Monday! It's time for another challenge over at The Pink Elephant, TPE 163. This week, the challenge is to create a sympathy/thinking of you project. I couldn't help but remember a dear lady that passed away recently as I was making this card. She was one of the first to welcome my husband and I into our church family many years ago, and I have her delicious sugar cookie recipe, that I will cherish even more now. You will be missed, Bernie, but I know that you are in a better place.
The sketch at Crazy 4 Challenges, C4C151, was just what I needed to get started with my sympathy card.
The color scheme over at Friday Mashup, FM73, using Midnight Muse, So Saffron, Tempting Turquoise, and Soft Suede worked well for a thank you or a sympathy-themed card. Love the soft, subtle colors! I also submitted this card to the Speedy Fox and Friends #126.
Lots of layers for this one...had fun using some of my Stampin' Up! dies...isn't the doily and the big label fabulous? The flags/pennants I made just cutting strips of designer paper, then punching the bottom with a square punch.
Thanks for stopping by the stage. Head on over to The Pink Elephant and join in on the fun!

Back to School TODAY!
It's hard to believe that another summer break has come and gone! Today is our first day back to school. Noah is in 7th grade and will be in the same building and hallway as I am...kinda cool (I hope:) Ben is in 5th grade and Hannah is in 2nd grade! They are growing up WAY too fast!
The card I made for today's challenge at The Pink Elephant is going to Hannah's teacher, Mrs. Bragg, along with a few teacher goodies:)
Head on over to The Pink Elephant to see what the other gals whipped up this week for the "Create Your Own Embellishments" challenge, TPE #162. I also submitted this card to the Friends of Speedy: Back to School Challenge over at MFP Speedy TV.
Thanks for stopping by the stage! Happy BACK TO SCHOOL day!
