Hannah's Travel Journal

I worked on this journal for Hannah on Sunday, when I should've been working on my Convention swaps! I love how it turned out, though, and I know she will love it. Hannah loves to doodle, so I included several "note pads" that were pieces of lined designer paper stapled together.

The chipboard suitcase book is from the Spring Mini, I think...but, this "TO DIE FOR" Love Letter Designer Series Paper pack is in the new catty....I LOVE IT! The DSP led me to use Riding Hood Red, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Crumb Cake on my project. What gorgeous colors together....so LOVEly!

I used tons of Irridescent Ice & Heat & Stick embossing powder along with three colors of Chunky Glitter...my girl loves BLING!

The ribbons I used were some old Riding Hood Red Taffeta, narrow Basic Black taffeta, Black Hemp Twine & some old Twill Roping. The Sentimental Journey stamp set was perfect with the airplane & suitcase images as well as the compass and journal words.

Thanks for stopping by! Oh, and if you ever fly Delta and find some Red glitter...that's Hannah leaving a little love behind:)

Stamps: Sentimental Journey, Rough Type
Paper: Love Letter DSP
Ink: Black Stazon, Very Vanilla Craft
Other: assorted punches, ribbon, clips, glitter, etc., Vintage Tags, Heat Tool, Sticky Strip

Polka Dot Punches ~ 6X6 page or 3X6 card

Here is one of the February Stamp Club projects that we worked on this week using three Sale-a-bration products, the Polka Dot Punches stamp set, Delicate Dots Designer Series Paper, and Ribbon Bundle. There are two options with this layout...the 6X6 scrapbook page or folded in half for a 3X6 card.

I found this photo while shuffling through some older ones. It was taken on Mother's Day 2007 at a Mother-Daughter luncheon that our church hosted. Hannah was so cute sitting on Nana's lap wearing some of her jewelry:)

Halie's Scrapbook Page

When I got back from getting my hair cut today, the babysitter was eager to try some stamping. I was thrilled to get her started! She wanted pink and brown and liked the KWerner Color Inspiration card I made earlier this week. This 6X6 scrapbook page is what we came up with. Isn't it wonderful? Great job, Halie!
