The Pink Elephant Scrap Challenge

It's all about Spring at The Pink Elephant Scrap Challenge today!  Here is a cute photo of my hubby and our sweet daughter, Hannah, on a zoo trip to the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago a couple of years ago!

The Pink Elephant Scrap Challenge

Join us this week over at The Pink Elephant for a new scrap challenge using this awesome "Pink Print."  I had fun with this one...lots of elements on this page!  This photo was taken a couple of years ago at Six Flags...a cute one of the kids all together (and smiling)...which doesn't happen very often:)

TPE Scrap Challenge - Happy Easter

Head on over to The Pink Elephant for a new scrap challenge, #51: Happy Easter theme.

The photo on my digital page was taken two years ago on Easter Sunday... Hannah was all dressed up in her Sunday best for church service.  She loves Jesus, and loves to celebrate him!  Have any of you been watching The Bible Series on the History Channel the last few weeks?  It's on each Sunday evening until Easter and my kids have been glued to it every week, asking questions, and showing real passion with their renewed faith in Christ!

TPE Scrap Challenge #50: Pinch Me

This candid photo of my son, Ben, was taken last summer at the CPS National Pig Show at the Illinois State Fairgrounds.  It was one hot day...as you can see, Ben is sweaty and fanning himself with his shirt.  Keeping the pigs cool is our number one priority at events like this...we know if we are feeling the heat, the pigs are even more so.

Head on over to The Pink Elephant for the new Scrapbook Challenge #50: Pinch Me (Use the color green) today and see what the other girls have created!  I really didn't think I would ever have time to scrapbook, but with digital scrapping, I can do a page here and there with some of my favorite photos.  When I used to do traditional scrap-booking, it seemed to be such a long and messy process.  I LOVE this new way of scrapping!

Confidence

It's time for a new scrap challenge over at The Pink Elephant!  This week is a recipe challenge:  buttons, stitching and ribbon:)  Oh, how I love all of these ingredients!  The freebie digital kit that I used for my page is from Pixels & Co. called Green Lights Ahead.

The photograph on my page was taken a couple of summers ago when Hannah was watering flowers as one of her daily chores.  She is one of the few kiddos I know who LOVES chores:)

Hope you'll join us for the scrapping fun over at The Pink Elephant this week!

My Own Moves

I adore this candid photo of Noah that I took last summer at the Sangamon County Fair as he was waiting at the wash rack to clean his pig before showing it in the ring.  He is growing up so fast and becoming such a wonderful young man!

It's time for a new Scrapbook Challenge, #48, over at The Pink Elephant!  This week, we got to use Chevrons or Hexagons on our pages...so cool!  The hexagon paper that I used, as well as the other papers and elements on my page, are freebies from Pixels & Co. called Right Round.

Believe it or not, the layout inspiration of my page came from the February card sketch over at The Craft's Meow!  I've had this sketch saved on my desktop to create a card, but it looks like the page got first dibs:)

Prettiest Witch in Town

I adore these photos of my pretty witch taken last Halloween!  Looking back at photographs of all of the costumes Hannah has worn over the years, this one was a favorite of hers and mine!  The best part about Hannah in her "pretty" witch costume is that pose, all sassy and confident...love it!

Hope you'll join us this week for a new scrap challenge, #47, at The Pink Elephant!  This week, the challenge is to use BANNERS...oh, how I love banners!  Best thing about these banners is that they were FREEBIES over at Pixels & Co.

Thanks for stopping by the stage!  Head on over to The Pink Elephant and see what the creative team has whipped up with banners this week!

It's time for a new scrap challenge over at The Pink Elephant!  This week, we challenge you to LIFT IT:  Be inspired by a previously seen layout.  I was inspired by the colors and collage effect from julifish's gallery...a beautiful layout with teal and yellow over at Pixels & Co.  The best part about my layout is that all of the papers and elements were FREEBIES from P & Co.

AND...hold onto your socks, because we're getting ready for The Pink Elephant's 4th Birthday with a Blog Hop Celebration on February 15th!  Mark your calendars, you won't want to miss this day of fun, fabulous projects both paper and digital, and PRIZES!

100% Me

Happy Saturday!  It's time for a new Scrapbook Challenge, #43, over at The Pink Elephant!

This week, the DT girls and I used this awesome color combination...LOVE these colors!  The colors worked well for a photograph of my oldest son, Noah.  I took this photo of him, looking so proud, as he was climbing a wall at Upper Limits in Bloomington, IL.  All three kids had a good time on our little adventure, and I got some decent pics of them, but will scrapbook more another day:)

Thanks for stopping by the stage!  Head on over to The Pink Elephant to see what the other fabby designers have for you to see:)
