Happy Father's Day

Karen's sketch, Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #72, was the perfect inspiration that I needed to get some masculine mojo. The Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #1 called for ribbon, of course, with a masculine theme....tough one. As you can see I used just a tad of ribbon, (not my usual full poofy bow) but I think it totally works to remain masculine! The designer series paper from the Summer Mini Catalog, Travel Journal, was a Godsend to keep the masculine look going, too....love the manly colors, so varsity!

You know what a fanatic I am over RIBBON, so I was super excited to find this fun new blog mentioned at my good friend, Chupa's blog...the Really Reasonable Ribbons Ramblings! You must go check it out and let them know I sent you:) AND, another fun new challenge blog, Always Playing with Paper, has a challenge for a Father's Day/Masculine theme as well! Don't you just love it when your card fits so many fun challenges?

Father's Day is coming up, so get some masculine craftiness started! Our Curtain Call Color Challenge next week may help you, too, in your masculine endeavors:) HA! In fact, this week's Curtain Call Color Challenge: {ACT 33} could totally work for a father, brother, son card, too!

Stamps: All Holidays
Paper: Night of Navy, Wild Wasabi (textured), Whisper White CS, Travel Journal DSP
Ink: Night of Navy, Garden Green
Other: Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware (star brads and frame), Night of Navy 1/4" Grosgrain, Pinking Hearts Border Punch, Mat Pack, Paper Piercing Tool
