Happy fall, ya'll! I'm a few days behind in getting my 'welcome fall' card ready for you...but, better late than never, right?! Also, I learned that today is Good Neighbor Day, so it was a great time to celebrate! I am fortunate enough to have the best neighbors, my in-laws...that's right...they are wonderful people and I'm frequently borrowing that cup of sugar or stick of butter! This card is going right over to my sweet mother-in-law, Marilyn, along with a beautiful Candy Corn Mum that I bought from a local farmer!
The beautiful inspiration photo at Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger just makes me melt with the subtle fall color, and Jen's sketch, deconstructed sketch #120 was perfect to ink up those adorable acorns from Reverse Confetti. The new 'Fetti Find is up and running, which I was over the moon to win last week! The CAS-ology Cue Card: Autumn was just the right challenge, too, even though my cards aren't exactly CAS.
A whole bunch of the ingredients on my card are from my favorite online store, i {heart} papers... Reverse Confetti Forever Fall stamp set, Webster's Pages Recorded papers, Hemptique Dark Brown Hemp Cord twine, Momento Rich Cocoa Dye and Luxe inks! If you haven't stopped by IHP lately, you're missing out on lots of new holiday goodies!
I heat embossed the acorns and sentiment, fussy cut the acorns, and added a little burlap cut with some leaf dies! After adding a touch of twine and a trio of wooden chevron pieces, my card is ready to pass along to my neighbor!
Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

I've lived in my home for 25 years and still don't know my neighbors - so good neighbor day went right by me!! I love everything about this - but especially those burlap leaves and the hint of blue!!
