Fresh Squeezed Stamps - Great Coach

We have more SPRING CLEANING for you today from Fresh Squeezed Stamps!
I whipped up this masculine-themed card using Say Anything...the cool background builder and fun sentiment worked well together to create a card from my daughter's basketball coach.

I used the new sketch over at Unscripted Sketches, #242....love the fun geometric panels...and Casology #81: AND works with the big ampersand!

Head on over to the Fresh Squeezed Stamps Blog to see what the other designers dusted off for Spring Cleaning week!

Head on over to the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge and join us for the Sweet Snowflakes!

For a little extra inspiration, take a look at the new sketch, #89, at Cardabilities!  It is fantastic for a few snowflake layers!  Make sure you stop in and see what the talented gals at Cardabilities created with the new sketch today!

I'm linking up to these two fantastic challenges, also...Friday Mashup #139: It's Getting Chilly! and CAS-ology Cue Card #74: Snowflake.

I had a ball creating this card!  I used the envelope punch board to create a fun panel for the front of my card.  After stamping Uniko Studio's Stunning Snowflakes in a scattered fashion with distress inks, I added a couple of Uniko Studio's Snowflakes Dies, some sequins, a sentiment tag with button and twine treatment!

    Thinking of You

What a beautiful day!  The weather here in the midwest has been absolutely AMAZING... the beautiful fall color is emerging with yellows, reds, and oranges and full of inspiration for card-making!  The ColourQ Challenge #210 lends itself nicely to the fall color scheme that I'm seeing outside!

I'm also playing along with the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #145 and broke out some MFT stamps and dies by the ultra-fabulous designer Mona Pendleton, MPD Winged Beauties!

I'm linking this card up to the CAS-ology Cue Card: Crisp, too!  Lots of WHITE and "crisp" leaves here, don't you think?

I grabbed a new paper pad at Archiver's when I was out in Denver last weekend...it's My Mind's Eye Cut & Paste Charm!  What gorgeous colors and trendy patterns it has!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

    Good Neighbor Day...happy FALL

Happy fall, ya'll!  I'm a few days behind in getting my 'welcome fall' card ready for you...but, better late than never, right?!  Also, I learned that today is Good Neighbor Day, so it was a great time to celebrate!  I am fortunate enough to have the best neighbors, my in-laws...that's right...they are wonderful people and I'm frequently borrowing that cup of sugar or stick of butter!  This card is going right over to my sweet mother-in-law, Marilyn, along with a beautiful Candy Corn Mum that I bought from a local farmer!

The beautiful inspiration photo at Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger just makes me melt with the subtle fall color, and Jen's sketch, deconstructed sketch #120 was perfect to ink up those adorable acorns from Reverse Confetti.  The new 'Fetti Find is up and running, which I was over the moon to win last week!  The CAS-ology Cue Card: Autumn was just the right  challenge, too, even though my cards aren't exactly CAS.

A whole bunch of the ingredients on my card are from my favorite online store, i {heart} papers... Reverse Confetti Forever Fall stamp set, Webster's Pages Recorded papers, Hemptique Dark Brown Hemp Cord twine, Momento Rich Cocoa Dye and Luxe inks!  If you haven't stopped by IHP lately, you're missing out on lots of new holiday goodies!

I heat embossed the acorns and sentiment, fussy cut the acorns, and added a little burlap cut with some leaf dies!  After adding a touch of twine and a trio of wooden chevron pieces, my card is ready to pass along to my neighbor!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

    In the Hearts They Touch

    verve fusion teacher

It's Friday...yippee!  There's a new Fusion Card Challenge to get your weekend started off right!  For Hypothesis #17, Leslie chose a cool quadrant of flair-looking icons with a fabulous versatile sketch!  Each time I looked at the inspiration photo, I couldn't get past the pop of red and the classic book print backgrounds.

After I chose my Simple Stories Say Cheese paper pad with the eye-popping red and book printed papers, I went right to one of my all-time favorite Verve Stamps sets, Teachers Count and Verve's A Cut Above Apple Die Set

Anything Goes over at Word Art Wednesday is always a fun one to visit when you need an uplifting read!  Of course, if it's Back to School related....it TOTALLY fits our new challenge over at the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge, Little Red Wagon Really Reasonable Ribbon #79!  The CAS-ology Cue Card: Apple ties in perfectly, too, with all of the back to school inspiration!

There's a fun prize up for grabs at the Curtain Call, The Alley Way Stamps Learning Curve stamp set, to the LEAD...stop in and play along!

    Be-YOU-tiful - Fusion

I'm loving all of the nautical inspiration that I'm seeing lately...today, we have a brand-new Fusion Challenge #14...and have you noticed the new look of Fusion?!   We love the "Zen" approach that Leslie was inspired to change to:)

I threw a bit of gold in for my take on Fusion #14, which works for the Papercraft Star #154 CAS-ology Cue Card: Gold, too!  My card may not be very clean & simple, but I still love being inspired and challenged...a splash of gold is always fun!

I thought I'd try out for the 'Fetti Find again this week, too...that is, since I'm totally in love with the Reverse Confetti stamps!  This fabulous Peacock Pretties stamp set is one that I ordered with their debut May release!  I love how versatile Jen's designs are...you can go CAS or totally layered with a bit of "collage-ing" if you wish!  It all works!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!
