Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Celebrate

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

source: refinery29.com

To celebrate the Curtain Call's third anniversary, the Celebrate challenge will run the entire month of July!  The LEAD of this challenge will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!

I die cut three of the Simon Says Stamp fun balloons in different patterned paper, added some baker's twine strings, and clustered them over a few other layers of paper.  The Simon Says Stamp sentiment was stamped in black and placed offset with a mini staple!

Make sure you visit each of the designers' blogs for more inspiration!

The BuzzProverbs 16:24 Plain Jane
The Buzz Die Set

I made this card for a special student that I'm tutoring in preparation for a national board exam.  The new set, The Buzz, reminds me of the symbolic meaning of a bee.  You know a bee is scientifically too heavy to fly with its small wings...but somehow, it flies anyway because of the tenacity of it's beating wings.

After stamping The Buzz bee over a piece of yellow paper, I die cut it and the honeycomb shape from The Buzz Die Set.  The bee, the honeycomb and a Simple Stories I Am ephemera flower were nestled together and embellished with some Gold Glam Shaker Mix confetti.  A sentiment from The Buzz was stamped over a light blue piece of Simple Stories I Am patterned paper, cut as a flag and clustered with an arrow on the bottom corner of the card front.

You arrived here from Julee's amazing blog...now it's time to hop on over to Teresa's beautiful blog!  Enjoy the rest of today's hop!  See you tomorrow for our final peek into the new release!

Reverse Confetti - See Him

Hey there, stamping friends!
Summer has arrived and so has summer vacation...what a blessing!

Reflecting back on the school year, I find myself thankful for many things....
my children...Noah, who is now a Sophomore, Ben, who will be in 8th grade and Hannah, who is a new 5th grader!

I'm also thankful for the opportunity to teach.  The quote on my card today is near and dear to my heart...a great reminder of sharing His love every day.

Check out these fabulous Reverse Confetti goodies that I included on my inspirational card!

I stamped the God is Good sentiment with some Versamark and embossed it with white powder over a piece of vellum.  The Let's Celebrate - Quick Card Panel became the framing panel for the sentiment with a few other elements, Sun 'n Clouds Confetti Cuts and Double Banner Garland Confetti Cuts.

The Color Me Happy sentiment was stamped over one of the Pina Colada Quick Card Panels using some teal/aqua ombre ink.

Those yummy Pineapples Aplenty for stamped and die cut using the Pineapples Aplenty Confetti Cuts and propped up over the main panel, then embellished with baker's twine and sequins.  The previously released Wonky Scallop Border Confetti Cuts was folded and placed to the side of the main panel for some added interest.

'Tis the Season - Reverse Confetti SFYTT

Hey there, 'Fetti Fans!

There's still time to play along with the December Sketch For You To Try at Reverse Confetti!
I'm also linking my card up to the Merry Monday #139!

I created a Christmas flower using the lemon/lime shapes of Fresh 'n Fruity Confetti Cuts, cutting from some fun patterned papers.  The flower center is the hole reinforcer from Tag Me Too Confetti Cuts with an additional enamel dot.  The Seasonal Sentiments stamped tag was cut from the Tag Me Confetti Cuts and a few enamel dots were added to and fro to finish off the card.

Stop in at the Reverse Confetti Blog to see what the other gals of the Confetti Crew have created for you today!
