Avery Elle I {Heart} You Challenge - Stripes

Hey there, stamping friends!

I got to play with some NEW Avery Elle stamps this weekend at The Craft House in Kansas with some fabulous gals!

The wonderfully sweet and talented Heather Campbell illustrated these darling stamp sets, Furry Friends & Ellie!  

Aren't these stamps sets totally precious?!  I love the endearing facial expressions of the animals!  So precious!  I used several patterns (stripes included) of Glitz Color Me Happy and Bright Side paper collections with a few sequins scattered about.

Curtain Call - Candy Cane with Avery Elle

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

I used Avery Elle's Noel Clear Stamps and Oh Yeah Elle-ments Dies on my festive Candy Cane inspired card today!

After stamping the bold Noel sentiment and heat embossing it in black, I cut it out using the Oh Yeah Elle-ments Die.  I placed the sentiment panel over a white doily and a couple layers of red and white patterned paper, then finished it off with some aqua seam binding and a few sequin sprinkles.

Happy Halloween - The Pink Elephant Challenge

Good morning!  It's Columbus Day and a great day for a little crafting since we have the day off from school!  It's also Monday, so it's time for a new challenge at The Pink Elephant!  This week, we are working with a lovely inspiration photo...perfect for those Halloween greetings!

The Deconstructed Sketch #122, My Mind's Eye October Challenge: Chalk It Up, Dynamic Duos #74 and Color Throwdown #263 all worked together seamlessly! 

I shopped at i {heart} papers for many of the festive products on my Happy Halloween card!  Head on over to the store and check these out...  Avery Elle Twisted Treats stamps and die, My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers, Hemptique Hemp Cord, and Momento Black Tuxedo Luxe ink.

The scene I created reminds me of an old "gothic"-looking home surrounded by a fence with bats flying outside the window pane!

Having fun with MFT today in the craft cave today!  It's been forever since I've had a chance to play along with the Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch Challenge at My Favorite Things!

I grabbed some of my favorite MFT stamps and dies, some pretty papers, and a few embellishments to create a card for a friend!

Fabulous Friday Fusion #12

Fabulous Friday, folks...time for a new Fusion Challenge!  

I adore the clean & simple sketch with the colorfully bold and whimsey photo!  Hope you'll play along this week!

I was also inspired by the Lawnscaping Challenge #60: Dimension!  You know how I love layers and dimension on my projects!

How did I get the brilliant water-colored effect on the big speech bubbly?!  I scored a new stash of Faber-Castell Gelatos from Jo-Ann's yesterday...and they are FANTASTIC!  They are like a chapstick crayon that glides along your paper like butter...then, sweep across with your water brush and get the most beautiful effect!  I'm in love with Gelatos!

Life...enjoy the ride & GIVEAWAY

Good morning, crafty friends!  The new Pink Elephant Challenge is up and running with this beautiful inspiration photo!  I was inspired by the soothing colors and textures and reminded of fun on the beach!

I paired the inspiration from the photo with this wonderful sketch from CAS(E) this sketch #32!  CAS cards are not my forte, but I know a good sketch when I see one!

I inked up a couple of stamp sets from The Alley Way Stamps...Tropical Hideaway and All About You...to create a clean, fresh, beach-y card using the new paper stack from Authentique called Essentials Collection!  After a few layers with the ever-fabulous My Favorite Things dies, fewer than my usual, I added some Papertrey Ink baker's twine and a sprinkling of those amazing Avery Elle sequins.

the best....Fusion #11

Happy Friday, all!  It's time for a new Fusion Challenge, #11!  This week I was inspired by the cool tie patterns on the photo and the collage of four on the sketch!  I couldn't resist the urge to create another "Father's Day" card, too!  This one's going to my own daddy who I get to see this weekend!

The City Crafter Challenge, #163, is All About Him ... masculine and just right for the "dad" in your life!

I used a new Avery Elle Oh Yeah stamp set and dies along with the fabulous Authentique papers, Essential Collection.  How fun are those adorable speech bubble die cuts with sprinklings of the Avery Elle sequins?!
