Happy Spring ~ Sweet Sunday Cupcake

I had a ball coloring with my new stamping supplies today...I paired up two challenges, Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #63 with this fun square layout and...

the Rachel's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #53 over at Hope Stamps Eternal. What a fun spring-like inspiration with an explosion of color!

I stamped the images, then colored them in, attached some coorinating buttons tied off with twine. The main image was layered onto a scallop circle, then adhered the card base that includes a large scallop border and some yummy patterned paper. It wouldn't be a Stacey Original without a big yummy bow:)

This card also fits the bill for:
Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturdays: Week #34 Wings
Paper Craft Planet: Challenge #8 - Sweet Springtime Inspirations
Something Completely Different: Week 45 - W for Wings
Color Create Challenge Thursdays: Challenge #41 - Pastels
Fab & Funky Challenge: Week 17 - Spring is in the Air
The Pink Elephant Challenge #61: Nature Theme

Happy Spring...what better way to celebrate spring than to get crafty!

Stamps: Springtime Doodles (PTI)

Ink: Rich Cocoa (Momento), Copic Markers
Other: Plum Pudding & Hawaiian Shores Vintage Buttons, Button Twine, Hawaiian Shores Grosgrain, Large Scallop Die (PTI), Cirlce/Scallop Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Big Shot

Praying for You

I inked up this lovely image from the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set in Black Stazon and attached three flowers punched from the Boho Flower Punch with the Pretty in Pink Epoxy Brads. The layered designer paper is from the Sending Love & Bella Bleu pack, the perimeter of the kraft print stitched with the sewing machine. The real wow is that yummy Basic Black Satin bow!

Stamps: Thoughts & Prayers
Paper: Kraft, White Naturals, Whisper White CS, Sending Love & Bella Bleu DSP
Ink: Black Stazon

Branching Out...just because

This card was inspired by the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #107 (don't you just love the strand of buttons?)...

and the Diva Coffee Break Design Color Challenge #70 using Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery & Chocolate (missed the deadline...oops)...

and Debbie over at the Shabby Tea Room has a challenge called "Let's Get Scrappy" to use up some of those scraps that have been tossed to the side. I definately have plenty of those, so I used a few scraps of cardstock to die cut my little buttons.

I had so much fun making this card today...it's Good Friday...and it feels good to stamp "just because"... Have a great day, folks:)
