Make it Happen

My baby girl, Hannah, will be in third grade this year...seems like such a big step for my sweet girl!  Where has the time gone?!  I made this card for Hannah and will give it to her on her first day of school this year!

The Pink Elephant Challenge #207 this week is to use Woodgrain on your project!  The Glitz Color Me Happy paper has a few woodgrain papers that I HAD to use with these fun stamps from The Alley Way Stamps, Learning Curve.

The layout of my card was inspired by retrosketches #71 and the primary colors from ColourQ Challenge #196 (though, I added a touch of lime-green for the book worm:).

Hope you'll grab your Woodgrain materials and head over to The Pink Elephant to play along with us this week!

There's still plenty of time to get in on my Birthday Linky Party fun and a chance to win a fantastic prize!  Head on over HERE and click through the fabulous entries there are already:)   Prize drawings will be held on July 10th at noon CDT!

Make sure you stop by the new challenge, Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge, to see the reveal of the fabulous Curtain Call Crew as we prepare for our first challenge on July 15th!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

SO cute, Stacey! Love the way you've used the woodgrain here. They do grow up so fast, don't they? Have a great week! :)
