Confetti Crush Reminder - Reverse Confetti

There's still time to play along with the Confetti Crush challenge at the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!   This challenge was so fun, I wanted to give it another go!

The LEAD of the Confetti Crush challenge will receive a gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store!  How exciting is that?!

The Retrosketches #111 worked well to display a sweet bag of confetti on this birthday card!

I used a few pieces of My Mind's Eye Now & Then Izzy papers on this fun card!  The Confetti Cuts Double Edge Scallop Border was cut in half and stitched together over a glassine bag full of pretty sequins, and a small Confetti Cuts Tag Me banner was added to the top with a mini staple!  The "birthday wishes" sentiment from Sweet Thing was stamped vertically on a background piece, to finish it off.

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Perfect timing for this set, Class Act, as the school year winds down and my need to create "thank you" cards and goodies for the kiddos' teachers!
Did you see the rounded rectangle die from Class Act fits PERFECTLY inside the Love Note?!  Squeal!  That makes this girl HAPPY!

Your next stop on the hop is the fabulous Laurie Schmidlin!

Fresh Squeezed Stamps - When Hearts Collide

Welcome back for the second day of the Fresh Squeezed Stamps January Release!  I had a ball creating a collaged background of images (peeking from under the vellum) from the new stamp set, When Hearts Collide!  There are hearts of all shapes, sizes, and patterns!  You will have a ball with them, too!

The retrosketches  #96 was the basic layout of my card...great for creating that fun vellum overlay!

I used some fun patterned papers along with a jumbo button and fushia twine from Pretty Pink Posh!
You can't go wrong with FUN stamps, FUN paper, and FUN embellishments!

Make sure you stop by the Fresh Squeezed Stamps Blog to see the other eye candy from the design team!
