Santa's Parking Lot - Fresh Squeezed Stamps

Good morning, friends!  Wednesdays are wonderful because I'm up on the Fresh Squeezed Stamps Blog and get to share some inspiration with you over there!  I'd love for you to stop in over there and say "hey!"  or "ho ho ho!"

I went for a bit of a "wonky" feel for my card today!  After placing the panels and elements down all straight and narrow, it occurred to me that it would be much more fun with some slanting and sliding!  I used the fabulously fun images from the Hello December and On Trend 2013!

The Sunday Stamps Challenge #64 was a great basic layout to feature these darling Fresh Squeezed Stamps and the fun challenge, Paper Issues: It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas is a great inspiration!

You can find Fresh Squeezed Stamps over at i {heart} papers along with Hemptique, patterned papers and Versamark!

The city scene and sleigh sign were inked up with Versamark and heat embossed with some sparkly embossing powder for a little tone on tone effect.  The Santa flair image was inked up with black along with the date stamp, while the flair image was circle punched and marked with some glitter pen for more added shine!  Finally, I added some stars, a bit of curly Hemptique twine and some Pretty Pink Posh Classic Christmas Flat Sequins to give a little extra whimsicality to my project!  Oh, and aren't the Heidi Swapp Believe papers amazing with these stamps and embellishments!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage today!  I hope you are inspired to create something a bit "wonky," too!
