Fresh Squeezed Stamps - Wintery Birthday Wishes

Good morning!  I'm up on the Fresh Squeezed Stamps Blog today and would love for you to stop by and say "Brrrrrr, baby it's cold!"  That's right!  It IS cold....an arctic blast recently made its way through the states and boy, oh boy...thank heaven for electric blankets!

To embrace the new change in temperature, I couldn't help but grab the new Fresh Squeezed Stamps set, Arctic Friends, and paired it up a sentiment and flower from the Everyday Expressions set.  My dear daughter, Hannah, has a birthday party to attend and she loves this wintery walrus with a little bloom on her head!  If you haven't picked up the Arctic Friends stamp set, you are missing out on the most adorable animal builder set around!

I was inspired by the Retro Sketches #93 and Dynamic Duos #82 to create this wintery bliss!

I inked up Miss Walrus in Black Soot, then shaded her a bit with Copics.  After fussy cutting her out, I placed her over a couple of fun circle shapes and embellished with twine and sequins!

You can find Fresh Squeezed Stamps at the i {heart} papers store, too, along with Hemptique White Hemp Cord, Ranger Distress Inks, Copic Markers, and Crate Paper!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Santa's Parking Lot - Fresh Squeezed Stamps

Good morning, friends!  Wednesdays are wonderful because I'm up on the Fresh Squeezed Stamps Blog and get to share some inspiration with you over there!  I'd love for you to stop in over there and say "hey!"  or "ho ho ho!"

I went for a bit of a "wonky" feel for my card today!  After placing the panels and elements down all straight and narrow, it occurred to me that it would be much more fun with some slanting and sliding!  I used the fabulously fun images from the Hello December and On Trend 2013!

The Sunday Stamps Challenge #64 was a great basic layout to feature these darling Fresh Squeezed Stamps and the fun challenge, Paper Issues: It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas is a great inspiration!

You can find Fresh Squeezed Stamps over at i {heart} papers along with Hemptique, patterned papers and Versamark!

The city scene and sleigh sign were inked up with Versamark and heat embossed with some sparkly embossing powder for a little tone on tone effect.  The Santa flair image was inked up with black along with the date stamp, while the flair image was circle punched and marked with some glitter pen for more added shine!  Finally, I added some stars, a bit of curly Hemptique twine and some Pretty Pink Posh Classic Christmas Flat Sequins to give a little extra whimsicality to my project!  Oh, and aren't the Heidi Swapp Believe papers amazing with these stamps and embellishments!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage today!  I hope you are inspired to create something a bit "wonky," too!

Thankful - Grateful Heart

Happy Monday!  There's a new challenge up and running over at The Pink Elephant!  This week, our theme is "Be Thankful!"

I have so much to be thankful for this year!  Most of all, my heart is grateful for my mother's bounce-back from some health problems that she went through late summer/early fall!  She is visiting with us this week and is looking and feeling so much stronger, healthier and energetic!

The Dynamic Duos #80: Triple Threat and Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #198 were additional inspiration for my card!

Thanks to my awesome Reverse Confetti stash, I grabbed a couple of stamp sets and dies to work into my "thankful" card!

You can find Reverse Confetti stamps and dies at the i {heart} papers store, too, along with some other goodies on my card today...Basic Grey RSVP, Momento Rich Cocoa & Espresso Truffle Luxe, and Hemptique Natural Hemp Cord!

Also, you'll notice a little BLING on my card...those are the super fabulous METALLIC GOLD SEQUINS from Pretty Pink Posh Shop!  Sweet Paulina of Pretty Pink Posh asked me to join her for the GRAND OPENING...can't wait to show you what I've been creating for that special event!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

A Home - Fresh Squeezed Stamps

Hey there!  I'm excited to be able to share projects with you on the Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog every Wednesday!  I'd love for you to head on over and say "hello!"

I've been thinking a lot about "home" and "family," and with the Thanksgiving holiday coming up, I wanted to create something with my own family in mind!  The Fresh Squeezed Stamp set, Friendly Folk, came in very handy!  It is a wonderful folk-art styled set with great images and a heartfelt sentiment!

You can find Fresh Squeezed Stamps at the i {heart} papers store along with the Studio Calico Thataway papers and Ranger Distress inks!

The house image was stamped in gray ink, while the sentiment was inked up in an aqua distress ink...both were stamped onto white card stock.  The house was fussy cut and both the image and sentiment tag were propped up with foam squares along with a cute little heart punch!  Oh, and notice the stars...stamped in the same aqua distress ink and embellished with sequins!

Thanks so much for stopping by the stage today!
I hope to see you over at the Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog!
