Viva la Verve - Groovy

Hi there, Verve fans!

It's time for a new Viva la Verve sketch!  Hope you'll head on over to the Viva la Verve Sketches Blog and play along with us!

LOVE these cheerful colors of my card!  I stamped Verve's "groovy" and "peace" sentiments from the Surely Goodness stamp set here and there over the ABC panel, clustered a couple of flowers from the coordinating Goodness Flowers Die Set  and embellished with a tied button.  The Flourished Tag Die Set is peeking out from the top and bottom of the focal panel!  Love that little guy...so versatile!

Of course, I had to pull out all the SRM Stickers goodies I could find!  I used SRM Stickers stamps, doily, scalloped circle, birthday stickers, and baker's twine!  LOVE my SRM Stickers!!!

Reverse Confetti - Always Dream BIG

Hey there, stamping friends!

With graduation coming up for many of my former students, I find myself needing several cards!  I LOVE this new Reverse Confetti sentiment from Shine From Within stamp set, "Always Dream Big"...it's perfect for graduation and good luck cards!

 I stamped the Shine From Within sentiment in a pink/coral ink over a couple of the Layered Banner Duo Confetti Cuts flags clustered with some leaves and another piece of Crate Paper ephemera.  The panels behind the sentiment flag were cut using the Documented Confetti Cuts and offset from one another to create a scrappy look.

Reverse Confetti - May SFYTT Recap

Hey there, Reverse Confetti friends!

There's still plenty of time to play along with the May Sketch For You To Try over at Reverse Confetti!  

I used some fun new confetti from the May release!

I stamped the Party Hats hat with some ombre ink and die cut using the Party Hats Confetti Cuts.  The square panel became a frame of sorts for the party hat with a peek of the rounded top rectangle from Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts.  The Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts became the perfect embellishment with a pretty bow in the corner.

 Hi there, stamping friends!

I had a chance to use some fun new stamps and dies from My Favorite Things today and couldn't wait to share!  

There are two challenges going on now, too, so it was a perfect time for me to play along with these new goodies that I received at a craft retreat a few weeks ago.

After getting the Sour Apple Card Stock card base ready and adding a couple of angled patterned paper panels, I went to work on the super fun focal point...that TV!  When I first saw that LLD Stay Tuned stamp set and Die-namics LLD Television, I instantly began reminiscing about my childhood when we had to get up off the couch and "flip" the channel knob manually!

For the card, I layered all of those fun pieces of the television together and added a sentiment stamped over a piece of vellum to adhere across the center.  This card is perfect for my oldest son who will turn 15 at the end of the month....he watches a bit of TV also and should get a chuckle out of this retro TV style that his mom and dad used to watch "back in the day."  LOL!

I LOVE this saying, "Home is Where the Heart Is..."  SO TRUE!  After a long day, what is better than home?!  I created this card to show off that awesome new SugarCuts - Home Sweet Home...and the new Sweet Sentiments - Home are perfect to add to your sentimental projects.

As I have mentioned in earlier posts, my hubby travels quite a bit for work.  Having sweet cards like this to tuck in his overnight bag are really handy.  It helps us all feel connected through a long week when he is in a hotel and kids and I are home missing him:)
