Happy Heart Day

The Embellish Ribbon Color Challenge is to use the color combination turquoise, brown, pink AND to add ribbon...what a fun and happy color scheme. and...I love this darling sketch, Stampin' Royalty #4...I don't create a tag panel very often, but it's so cute...I should make tags more often. Oh...oh...oh...there's a new blog called Just Add Ink and the current challenge is to Just Add Hearts...go check it out!

I did some experimenting with the new epoxy brads...when you turn the prongs back, the centers don't pop out like the rhinestone brads, so I removed the prongs by twisting them off with tweezers...then adhered the epoxy center with Crystal Effects.

Ink: Black Stazon, Close to Cocoa, Tempting Turquoise & Pretty in Pink Stampin' Write Markes

An Unforgettable Friend ~ SSSC 53 & SPCC 31

I found a new stamping challenge blog, the Scrapmaster's Paradise Color Challenge...this one, SPCC31 requires the use of Real Red, Pretty in Pink & Apricot Appeal. Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #53 was the inspiration for the layout of my card...love her sketches:) This card should also fit the bill for the Stamp Simply #124 - Bleeding Hearts challenge and the Red Heart challenge at Cardvaarks.

Was anyone else having trouble signing into blogger last night? I tried on and off all evening with NO luck...it could've been satellite internet issues...anyway, so glad to be able to post my card this evening. Have a great weekend!

Stamps: Happy Heart Day

Ink: Black Stazon, Apricot Appeal, Real Red, Always Artichoke

Jewelry Color Inspiration #18

Anyone who knows me also knows that have an obsession for stamping and for JEWELRY! I enjoy participating in other stamping challenges and want to share the fun by offering my own weekly Jewelry Color Inspiration Challenge. The challenge will be posted each Sunday and will include a jewelry photo along with the link to the website where I found it.

If you want to play along, simply make a paper project (card, scrapbook page, or 3D item) that includes the colors indicated with the jewelry piece. (If you don't have the exact colors, just use ones that are similar:) Then, submit your creation to me by posting a comment by Saturday, Jan. 10th at 11:59 P.M. and including the link to your project. You may also wish to post your photo at Splitcoaststampers.com using the keyword JCI.

Those of you who participate in the challenge will receive recognition the following Sunday...so what are you waiting for...join the fun! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Here's my take on the color combination! These colors reminded me of Valentine's Day and of those yummy conversational candy hearts.
