I enjoy participating in other stamping challenges and want to share the fun by offering my own weekly Jewelry Color Inspiration challenge. The challenge will be posted each Sunday and will include a jewelry photo along with the link to the website where I found it.

The fresh look of this "Spring" necklace from SavvyGirl & Company is accented with a silver piece and capped off with Swarovski crystals including mother of pearl, dyed jade and yellow turquoise. I have been visiting Cydney's SavvyGirl & Company blog for a few months now and am always amazed at her beautiful jewelry designs. I am thinking of treating myself one of her pieces for my birthday this summer. Trust me, you will be lost in her lovely designs as you scroll through them.

For my card, I used a the Clean & Simple Fall-to Layout #39 sketch as an inspiration along with this fresh color combination. Since I think this is my new favorite color combination, I also submitted it for the Our Creative Corner color challenge.

A Day to Remember ~ WSC77 & CC215

The Color Challenge #215 over at Splitcoaststampers this week includes Basic Gray, Rose Red, and Pink Pirouette. The Weekend Sketch Challenge #77 also inspired me to make this wedding card.

Something's wrong! It's not like me to leave out the ribbon and/or brads...and as you can tell, I didn't use my Stamp-a-majig for the second step in stamping the flower. I just couldn't throw the image away...it's the "Go Green" gal in me, I guess.

The Walk in the Park Designer Series paper and the greeting from Very Versatile are both from the Occasions Mini catalog. It's not too late to get your free gift with a $40 purchase.

Stamps: Very Versatile, Flower Fancy
Paper: Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, Whisper White CS, Walk in the Park DSP
Ink: Basic Gray, Rose Red, Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers
Other: Scallop Circle, 1 3/8" Circle, and Designer Label punches, Crafters Tool Kit, Stampin' Dimensionals

Great Friend

I made this card for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #14 and for Julie's Great Friend Card Contest.

Hmmm, after I posted this card, I realized that the sketch is a square card...oops! I may have to try my hand at this sketch again with a different color combination. The Walk in the Park DSP and Great Friend stamp set (both from the Occasions Mini catalog) are such a dynamic duo, and you gotta love those new Jumbo Grommets.

Stamps: Great Friend
Paper: Regal Rose, Basic Gray, Whisper White CS, Walk in the Park DSP
Ink: Basic Gray, Baja Breeze
Other: Jumbo Grommets, 1/2" Circle Punch, Stamp-a-majig, Pretties Kit, Baja Breeze Striped Grosgrain, Eyelet Border Punch

a little something ~ Walk in the Park Matchbox

Love, love, love this new Matchbox die with coordinating Matchbox Messages stamp set out of the new Occasions Mini Catalog! The matchbox comes together so easily and is just too cute! I used the Walk in Park Designer Series Paper & Whisper White Satin Ribbon (also from the Occasions Mini) to create this "a little something" box for any occasion. The box holds four Hershey nuggets perfectly, but could hold many other types of small candies or trinkets.

Great Friend ~ Chalkboard Technique

My stamp club gals made this card tonight using the Chalkboard technique. To get this amazing color stamped on Basic Black cardstock, you stamp your solid image in Whisper White and then apply Stampin' Pastels with a sponge dauber. It's definately an easy "wow" technique with just a few basic supplies.

The Great Friend stamp set is available in the Occasions Mini. It is beautiful set with lots of versatility...love it! To see the whole set, click on the Occasions Mini button in my left sidebar.

My card is inspired my the sketch from MOJO Monday sketch challenge #80 and the color combination from Our Creative Corner. The colors from the OCCC are More Mustard, Bashful Blue, and Not Quite Navy.

When I colored the duck with More Mustard, it was darker than I liked. So, I covered him with Dazzling Diamonds to "brighten" him up.

Best Wishes ~ SCS SC221

Here is a card that I made for the Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge #221. The Raspberry Tart DSP made it easy to put a color combination together for this challenge card. I put my Big Shot to work using the Flower, Daisies #2 Bigz die & the Little Leaves Sizzlet die. I die-cut three daisies and two little leaves for the focal piece. The Best Wishes greeting from the Oval All stamp set was inked in Rose Red and mounted on a Kiwi Kiss Scallop Oval. The Oval All and coordinating Scallop Oval punch will both be available in the new Occasions Mini brochure on April 1st.

Stamps: Oval All
Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White, Rose Red CS, Raspberry Tart DSP
Ink: Rose Red
Other: Big Shot, (Flower) Daisies #2, Little Leaves Sizzlet, 1/2" Circle, Large Oval & Scallop Oval punches, Crafters Tool Kit, Circle Ice Rhinestone Brads, Pop-Up Glue Dots & Stampin' Dimensionals
