Celebrate You Pop-Up Cake

A talented and sweet blogging friend, Nancy Riley over at iSTAMP celebrated a birthday this week. This card was especially created just for her and I hope she likes it! She is always making the coolest things...you have to check out her Cupcake Gift Set!

It is my first attempt at the new Pop-Up Cake XL Bigz Die. I was slightly overwhelmed with putting the pop-up cake together, but the die comes with step-by-step instructions including color photos...and what a great help that is! It's really quite easy to do...and what a WOW effect this pop-up gives, don't you think?

I used the Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper along with coordinating cardstock in Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, and Rich Razzleberry. The Party Hearty stamp set is one of my favorite stamps sets, so I used it with the same coorinating ink colors plus Pumpkin Pie. The front panel also shows off our new Melon Mambo Polka Dotted Ribbon....yummy!

Inside the card...POP!

B is for Birthday

This birthday card was the make & take that Tammy's guests made at her workshop last night. The card layout was inspired by my fabulously talented upline, Julie at Julie's Stamping Spot and the I took the color combination from the Sweet Always Designer Series Paper pack.

The party hats image at the bottom of the card was inked up using the Stampin' Write markers. The little present in the middle of the 'b' was stamped on a scrap piece of Whisper White, punched out with the 3/4" cirlce punch with a rhinestone brad inserted, and finally adhered with a dimensional.

Stamps: Party Hearty
Paper: Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Regal Rose CS
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette & Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose & Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Markers
Other: Whisper White Organza, Rhinestone Brads, Eyelet Border & 3/4" Circle punches, Stampin' Dimensionals

Party Hearty ~ KWerner Color Inspiration #39

I was so excited tonight when I checked by blog roll and noticed Kristina had just posted this week's Color Inspiration #39! Even though it was already late, I had to get cracking:)

Here's my Party Hearty creation! I used the Stampin' Write markers to color the party hats and then popped one up on a dimensional. I wrapped the Real Red ribbon around the Real Red mat and gathered the end with some Black Hemp Twine. What fun colors to use for a birthday card!

Stamps: Party Hearty
Paper: So Saffron, Real Red, Basic Black & Whisper White CS
Ink: Black Stazon, Green Galore, Real Red & So Saffron Stampin' Write Markers
Other: Real Red 5/8" Grosgrain, Black Hemp Twine, Corner Rounder, Stampin Dimensionals
