Viva la Verve - Keep Shining

Hey there, Verve fans!

I'm up on the Viva la Verve blog with this week's sketch!  

I used two of Verve's newest goodies...Rise Above and Partly Cloudy Die Set!  Keeping it simple, I just cut the background and panels from patterned paper, stamped a couple of sentiments over the light pink, then finished off with the SUN and clouds with some sprinkles of sequins.  

If you know me, you know I love some wonky panels and loads of layers!

Isn't this image from TWINKLE TWINKLE the sweetest thing you've ever seen?!  It is the epitome of little ones getting tucked in bed for the night, wishing upon a star!  I've spent countless nights tucking my own little ones in at nighttime and this set just melts my heart, thinking of those cherished times!

I found some paper in my stash that became a perfect backdrop for my card...that big moon shining bright as the little one wishes upon a star!  I stamped the main image with Tuxedo Black Luxe ink on to a piece of vellum card stock, attached a sentiment tag with a mini staple and wrapped the top with a bit of baker's twine.

I just love the dainty sentiments to go along with the sweet image!
